Yup, good
Firstly I am a Scotsman who likes a single malt dram. This whisky from England in my humble opinion is pretty ok. It's like all malts of this range it takes a nip or two to get used to it, of which I have, and found it a decent little sip. The price is a bonus too.I'm no whisky snob like some of the reviewer's and definitely no expert, I drink the amber nectar for pleasure and this whisky has not let me down.

Nice whisky.
This is a fairly nice whisky, unusually from England. It's not stunning but it's a good all-rounder and for the price , it is a bargain. We like to have a variety of single malts in the drinks cupboard and a couple of blended for mixing and this I think would be good either way . It's fairly smooth and I think definitely worth a try as everyone's taste is different !

Hidden gem
Never had an English whisky before...Done lots of Scottish and Irish, even Welsh which are excellent but pricey. This one is an odd beast... It smells like home made hooch, very harsh on the nose but after the first sip all is forgiven.Drank neat you get a hit of sweetness and citrus - very similar to my favourite, Glen Morangie.Adding water does it no favours.Low price usually equates to a guaranteed hangover, but not here. Will be buying again.

Very good
Did not expect too much as price is low, it just shows how wrong we can be, very good strong flavour without being harsh, just tried sipping a little to test and found it hard to not keep going, very good.

Great value single malt
Sipped neat: The first sip was acceptable, not complex in flavours. It hit the chest like a first shot of Jamesons. With water: A small amount of water was used, and I'm quite happy with the taste. With Ice: My personal favourite way to drink this whiskey. Chills it nicely and melts an appropriate amount of water with a couple of cubes.Overall, it's a 3.5 out of 5 in my view. I'll be interested to try an aged cask in a few years time.P.S. This whiskey is distilled in North Wales, not sure why some reviewers believe Aber Falls is in England...

A nice whiskey, but not overly complex
This is not bad as single malts go. It's not terribly complex in flavour but it is smooth and easy to drink neat. There's pretty much no smokiness to it, just a few notes of vanilla and oak.

Great Value Whiskey
For a single malt it's a fair bottle . Has a sharp tang but it's kind of fruity . It is however an excellent base for whiskey cocktails. It's robust enough not to be too overpowered by mixers . If you like a whiskey sour or even to flavour your own whiskey this is an excellent choice to start with .
