I get these Xiaomi smartwatches for my kids, they are solid (they resits a 5yo) and tend to be discreet. They pair with my phone via Bluetooth very easily and you can manage multiple aspect of the watch and its features through the app. They seem accurate for sleep and activity that's the main feature we use. Overall value for money!

It's amazing value. This thing has worked out a routine for me, and tells me off when I sit down for too long. Tells me when I need to wake up, congratulates me on completing my targets. Has an amazing app. I've spent over 10x more on a watch that didn't do as much. Love it.

Excellent value for the money, lots of useful functions, long battery life and quick charging, good app. Accuracy normally is good (+-2 bpm), but unfortunately as soon as there is any fast paced moving (like running) or tensed muscles (like weight lifting or dumbbell exercises etc) it can be widely inaccurate, showing +-25 bpm difference from real...

So, I have just come from using an Apple Watch Series 7 to using this and I’m honestly blown away by how much this watch does at around a tenth of what my Apple Watch cost! My main issues were the poor battery life of the Apple Watch and it just not tracking my sleep and not receiving notifications etc. I have tattoos so this is going to be a problem no matter what smart watch I use, but so far, the Xiaomi has been tracking my sleep no problem and accurately, notifications coming through every time and the battery life is fantastic! I’m still on 81% after 3 days. My Apple Watch died in around 2 days with many of the features disabled. This does everything I need, works well, has a nice vivid display with many choices of watch faces and never needing to worry about the battery dying. It does lack things like NFC but for the cost, you are getting a lot for your money. Very easy to set up via the app as well. I will say I’m not using this for fitness, the only thing I pay attention to is my steps, so I can’t vouch for the accuracy of fitness features but it seems to be pretty accurate with my steps and my heart rate. The calories seem to be way off, though, so if you’re looking for a dedicated fitness tracker you’d probably be better off looking for a Fitbit or something similar.

Bought this band and it stopped working after a year - tried to return it under the supposed 2 year warranty. I contacted xiamio and they have told me the serial number I have for this product shouldn’t be for sale in the uk - Do not buy this product - the product is NOT a uk product it has been bought in Asia and flogged on Amazon - the 2 year warranty is useless, xiamio will not accept it and they have advised me not to buy any xiamio products from amazon as the products are unofficially imported into the U.K. - how you are supposed to know this is another question - the band itself is of poor quality and the after sales service from the seller non existent

I'm a fan of Mi band, had nearly all of the previous ones. This one has a very nice design and build quality, haven't had any issues with it. If I had a suggestion for improvement it would be around the shortcut for torch. On my band 6 I could add a shortcut for torch in the slide left/right menu. I can add this to band 8 too, only that is not full screen and basically you need to add another shortcut that you not necessarily need just to have your torch handy.

First, amazing product. The screen is a beautiful and very bright! (I know, I know - it's a health band, but esthetics matter). The functionalities are great, seemingly very accurate. Setup was super easy. Very customizable towards what you like and how you want information to be displayed. The 137 different workouts are... odd. For example, dancing has 12 different types of dancing. Ballroom dancing, free style dancing. I get that there's a difference, but ... really? There's a board game playing workout setting. Again... really? The BIG advantage of this band is the battery life. It's advertised as a 2 week battery life. After turning everything on that matters to me, near constant updates on all health vitals the battery life drops to 1 week. STILL - that's AMAZING! With EVERYTHING conceivable turned on. Would I buy again? Hell yeah... as a matter of fact, I got another one for my partner. Here's my niggle... I wore the band for less than 12 hours, noticed that the band was too loose (too loose, not too tight!) and tried to change the hole. The closure popped right off. I was confused, looked at it and... it had broken. The ball closure has a 2 mm thickness. It just snapped off. Which makes sense, because it's plastic and 2 mm thick. I wasn't upset, because I had already ordered a different band because I like elastic bands because they change with your wrist throughout the day and throughout workouts. Just something to be aware off... the band, not their brightest moment.

Franchement great product for the price. Ça fait tour ça qu'il doit faire. Je l'utilise pour faire de la natation en piscine, courir en salle et faire des étirements dynamiques. Attention par fois elle ne registre pas là longueur en nage, mais ça dépend de la nage mais je fais de la natation artistique et parfois nos longueurs sont avec des mouvements "atypique" vis à vis la natation normale. Facil à setup et la batterie dure 6 -7 jours si tu l'utilise en mode "relax", cad (avec mon setup actuel) - notifications uniquement pour des appelles et message - monitorer mon sommeil (sans erm) - faire du sport (4-5 fois par semaines)

Llegaron muy bien en sus cajitas y al introducir el código de Xiaomi confirmamos que era original. El reloj es un aparato que tiene muchas funciones muy útiles y cuenta con algunas mejoras que el modelo anterior. - A diferencia del 7 la correa no es una sola pieza, sino son dos que se atoran con un mecanismo de ganchito. Si tienes un modelo anterior no vas a poder reutilizar las correas. - La pantalla tiene un buen tamaño (casi el mismo tamaño que el 7). - Incluye más opciones de deporte que el 7, y en general tiene un buen desempeño (al menos en natación que es mi caso). - La aplicación (Mi Fitness) tiene las mismas funcionalidades que Zepp Life y los datos se pueden exportar fácilmente al hacer una cuenta, en términos generales no noto diferencias significativas entre una y otra. - Se puede personalizar fácilmente el fondo, los widgets y el menú. - Automáticamente al sincronizarla la pulsera se pone en el idioma que tengas en tu teléfono. En conclusión me parece un excelente producto por un precio razonable. Si estás pensando en regalarla o es la primera vez que vas a comprar una, definitivamente recomiendo. Si eres usuario de las MiBand y quieres renovarte la recomiendo si tienes de la 6 para atrás, el salto de la 7 a la 8 no siento que sea tan grande y creo que en todo caso valdría la pena esperar el siguiente modelo.

Let’s make it clear: This Xiaomi band 8 is by no means a smartwatch that would compare to an Apple Watch or comparable model. However, it is probably the best fitness tracker my wife and I have had in the last 3-4 years since we started wearing trackers (we probably had 2 or 3 before this one). We both still wear “regular” watches on the left wrist, mine is even mechanical, so the tracker is not primarily to display the time (except at night), but to show us how many steps we make day after day. A good motivation to reach the famous 10’000 steps/day. I also use regularly the chronometer, timer, message display, heart rate display, sleep analysis and a few more. And because of its simplicity, it doesn’t use much battery and it lasts at least 8-9 days before it needs a recharge. All this for a very decent price, and a large choice of spare bands (we both replaced the original plastic band by a metallic one).

July will mark 1 year since owning this watch and I absolutely love it. Heart rate tracker is incredibly accurate and comes in clutch especially during workouts. The step count, sleep tracker, battery life are the best and my most used features. As a nurse I also appreciate the built in timer and the water resistance! Apps can also be sorted for your convenience through the Mi Fitness app instead of having to scroll and find what you’re looking for. I will be buying a different band that is more secure as the only issue I’ve had with this watch thus far is the standard black band getting caught and coming undone on things. It just pops loose and I don’t like that. However, overall an excellent watch!
