Good for cutting straight sections
Better for archaeology than the WHS trowels, good thin and sharp edged blades are great for cutting and straightening sections. Blades are a bit flicky but I've entirely switched to Marahaltowns now (archaeologist, UK)

marshalltown trowel 5 inch
Bought this trowel to do abit of pointing on my garden wall, the trowel is great quality and really nicely balanced and light , I would certainly recomend this trowel to anyone who demands the best from there tools.

Marshalltown pointing trowel
Being a bricklayer I'm very fussy about kit and when it comes to trowels it has to be marshalltown this is a very good pointing trowel highly recommend.
