YAMAZAKI home Plain Side Table, White

Easy assembly (literally just put the legs on) and it looks great. Material is also very sturdy.

Nice looking side table, simple, minimalistic design. Not the most sturdy table you'll find but it's a small table and not ment for heavy duty use. The table top is made of steel and the top part of the three legs is steel tubing that is spot welded to the table top. The welding could be better, only spot welded in a few areas of each tube, feels a bit fragile. Measurements are pretty actuate.My table came with some nicks/paint chips. The shipping box appear to be ok, the paint chips seem like it was bad manufacturing quality control. I decided to keep the table and touch up the chipped area with flat white paint.The manufacturing quality control seem to be an issue with YAMAZAKI metal side tables, I also ordered the, "YAMAZAKI home Compact Tower Side Table, White" ASIN: B008EOWZCA, and the welding was also bad and there was cracking of the paint in an area of the table leg were there was welding. The cracking of the paint could be due to the flexing of the welded area or actual cracks of the welded area. Either way the table was not sturdy and wobbles at the slightest touch, also seemed like a fragile table but it was a good looking table as well. I decided to return the table.

I live in a very small space and this table is perfect as a side table in my living room. It's well made, light without feeling cheap, and fits into modern decor very well. I love that the legs screw out so it can be easily stored. The height of the table is a little taller than the cushions of my couch, which works great.

I really love the look of this table. As with all Yamazaki products, it's beautiful and simple. Unfortunately, the table is very easy to tip over. Don't even think about getting it if you have children in your home. The top is a metal sheet that could cut and injure feet, hands, or whatever is underneath when it falls to the floor. It fell once on top of my foot, and caused a bruise. When I looked at the edge, I felt lucky that my foot had not been severely cut or injured.I now have the table wedged in between two sturdy pieces of furniture, so that it won't tip. It's such a shame, because I love how it looks, but I am honestly terrified it will hurt me or someone else if it is not hidden between two chairs, or wedged up against a wall.
