This product would have got 5 stars! but only one side of this clear Velcro is clear- the hook side. The loop side is white! from the description etc it read as if the hook and loop sides are both clear, avoiding as Velcro claimed the need for colour matching when required. However, the loop side is WHITE. I had wrongly assumed that the white tape in the picture was the peel off backing tape used to differentiate the hook and loop sides. The USA company that sold this product were great so no probs there. The product itself is good as it is low profile and bends around objects without peeling back and so keeps the distance between joined materials to a minimum, so I kept the product. So if you looking for a totally clear tape this is not for you! 3m do a Dual Clear Lock but I've not tried or seen it. Please Velcro this is not rocket science to make this good product- great! by being totally clear! Velcro surely one of the best inventions ever, I love it! along with the zip, bluetooth, wifi etc etc..

This is original one I guess; I have used it on windows to fix mosquito curtain as mesh. It working excellent so far.

...so it had to be something that didn't show up on the wall when I removed my vinyl banners. Method also had to be strong enough eot hold them, and easy enough to remove without damage to wall or artwork. Clear tape Velcro had just come out at the time— velcro is always making different varieties or adding rolls, strips, squares or circles, do I tried it. (Previously we had been using hooks and wire hund from the ceiling, and nothing ever hung at the right level, it was time consuming and ugly. Being able to hang them flat against the wall could work, that would be the best solution. Worked far better than I could have hoped for. Did a small test srip before adding it to the walls for 8 two foot wide, six foot long banners of a few pounds each. Because other organizations use the same room and do their own decorations, I bought a roll of it and did an entire strip across the wall down from the top at the most convenient level. That way anybody could use it at that height and not have to worry about placement. Gave the unused strip to the Park District for their future decorations. Since the entire top edge of the banners was one strip, it alway held securely and looked great. To remove the, just started at one edge and ran a letter opener across the top.
