The spiced rum is quite nice. I've tried a lot of NA beers, wines, and spirits. Many of them are terrible. This is quite nice. I tried the dark rum as well of this same brand, and ended up pouring it down the sink. It was so close to being lovely but something was just off. It's a shame because I was looking forward to the dark rum more. I would buy the spices rum again.

So very disappointed with this product. I purchased it in hope of wheening my mother off of Malibu Carribean Rum. It stated that it was comparable to Malibu minus the alcohol affect. This beverage tastes like rubbing alcohol, so disappointed. A waste of my $30+

Summary- Good for mixing, weak/ watery/ thin for sipping, great price.Note- for the "burn" i mix a light 1/8 teaspoon of powdered cyanne to a whole bottle.I tried both the dark and spiced. I used to drink rum mixed mostly with rootbeer and coke and am trying to find an alternative to help when I really want the real stuff.For the price this is way better than ritual and I won't even buy the more expensive bottles to try. The real rum I bought wasn't even that expensive.Sipping- a little watery and no burn (see note above) but other wise good flavor. The spiced has better sipping flavor than the dark, but the dark has stronger (coffee like) flavor. I think they tried to model the dark like Meyers Jamaican rum and spiced like captain Morgan spiced rum.Mixing- the dark mixed best with rootbeer and spiced mixed best with both. With the cyanne, it actually feels like your drinking a mixed drink and it doesn't change the flavor, that could tell.!!The biggest selling point is the price!! It is the most cost effective alternative I've found.

Wow, I loved this Rum alternative! I had a Mai Tai mixer and OMG, so delicious! It's a bit pricey, but I will buy more since it was that good.**Update, I had to order 2 more bottles because this Rum alternative is THAT good! I have a Bartesian and they offer fantastic Mai Tai pods. Pair the Mai Tai mixer with this Rum alternative, it's absolutely amazing! All the joy of drinking a Mai Tai without any hangover. I am doing a happy dance right now!

Very syrupy. Good flavor but also tastes like sunscreen. Very thick consistency. Wouldn’t buy again

I bought this with the intention of making refreshing nonalcoholic drinks and for the coconut flavor. However the taste is really bad and doesn’t go well with anything. It’s a bummer cause I waisted my money. :(

No NA beer, wine, or spirits will taste as good as the real thing, but this isn’t bad. Yes, coffee flavor is strong, but it’s pleasant. Peppery flavor comes through also. I like rum mixed with seltzer water and this seems to work. And it’s 5 calories. Nothing to complain about.

This is better than the other non-alcoholic rums I have tried, but there is still an artificiality to the taste that I can't quite put my finger on. I get a bit of banana and coconut (though it doesn't say coconut anywhere in the description). It would probably work in frozen or tiki type drinks, but is not suitable for soda mixing or sipping. It was okay in a daquiri but needed the simple syrup to quiet the "off" taste even though the "rum" is quite sweet on its own.Overall, I will keep it around for when I want a low calorie alternative but don't see it for much more than fruity drinks that don't need a true rum taste. It really doesn't taste much like rum but at least it isn't that bad tasting like most of the others are.

This is an alternative but it misses the mark.It has a good coconut smell and taste but not the little bite you get with real rum or even some of the other alternatives.
