Nice squishy mat that gives you padding between you and the floor when on the mat. Love the feel of it under my hands and feet when practicing each day.

This is my first yoga mat so I can't compare it to others, but I can say that it is fairly comfortable and I had no issues using it for an extended period of time. It grips hardwood floors well and hasn't given me any issues after multiple sessions. The extra thickness is appreciated because sometimes after a while, you can feel the mat is thinner in areas where you've stood or sat on it for a long period of time, so I can only imagine how it feels with less cushion. It does feel a little pricey for a yoga mat, but it's been durable so far so I guess this is more of a long-term investment?

Sooooo slick in hot yoga. My feet slid in downward dog. I felt so unsafe! So disappointed

This yoga mat is very nice! It is a bit thicker than the other one I own. My daughter is using this one, she likes the thicker mat better than the one I use. I like my other mat better because it is wider, but this mat is standard yoga size and it is still a wonderful mat. Now we each have a yoga mat and don't have to share, so we are both happy.This yoga mat seems to be of really good quality, it looks to be strong and durable. The price seems to be excellent for the quality. The color is pretty too. My daughter has been using this mat a few times a week, she likes it a lot better than her old one that she had to throw away a few months ago, it is definitely an upgrade. I am glad I ordered it!I don't yet know how well it will hold up over time, since I haven't had it very long, but I don't anticipate any problems. I will update this review if I obtain more insightful information in the future.

When reading my observations and opinions, it may be worth noting that I am very tall with very little padding of my own ~ 6'4", 215 lbs. Your mileage may vary.3mm is very thin. This yoga mat can be rolled up loosely and still take up very little space in a bag or trunk.The trade off for being this thin is that there is only so much cushioning 3mm of material can do to keep your body from being uncomfortable when pressing against hard surfaces, especially on uneven surfaces like decking, brick, or tile.There is a second issue ~ how strong this material smells of chemicals.What I like ~• The color, logo, and printed textures are not 'loud' and would fit well into a yoga / meditation workout space.• The material when put on a clean smooth surface stays in place once your weight is on it.• For how thin it is, it does on ok job of making the floor more compatible for some yoga and floor exercises.• As advertised, this mat is exactly 2 feet wide and 6 feet long (when forcing curled edge to lay flat for measuring).What I do not like ~• The mat has a strong chemical smell. While it seems to be slowly dissipating, it seems to get worse while perspiring on the mat. FWIW, the smell has not transferred to me or my clothes.• Mat is too thin for yoga/Pilates positions on hard floors that involve pressing weight on boney parts of the body like the head, elbows, knees, hip bones, etc.: After about 30 seconds, it is too uncomfortable for me to continue.• (see pic) The edge that was the inner most part of the coil when rolled up at factory refuses to lay flat. Can I use a hair dryer? Should I roll it the opposite way to 'counter fold' the curl? There are not instructions or tips included with this mat to help figure this out.• My height makes this 6' mat seem just a little undersized in length, especially when barefoot.I can only give this 3mm mat two stars and would recommend looking at the 5mm. While 3mm does make the hard floor more friendly than nothing at all, it's just too thin to serve its purpose effectively and the chemical smell is something I do not want around me. I do not know if the 5mm smells the way this 3mm does. I hope this is helpful.

Nice mat. True color. A bit sticky felting but I’m sure that will go away in time.

The mat doesn't slip on the floor, however there's some sort of coating that makes it extremely slippery on hands and feet when doing yoga. I've tried to use it twice and wasn't even sweaty and I had to use a towel on top of the mat to keep from slipping in downward dog.
