Product Description The world's most notorious doll is back on the rampage, but this time he's met his match... his ex-girlfriend tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) who, with marriage in mind, breathes new life into the little guy. So begins a hilarious adventure filled with gruesome splatter, murderous mayhem and laughs galore. desertcart.co.uk Review Brace yourself: this is a clever, consistently entertaining and even inspired continuation of the mean-spirited slasher series. For those not in the know, Chucky is a mop-top kid's doll come to life with the soul of a serial killer and the voice of Brad Dourif (doing his best Jack Nicholson). Revived by his former paramour Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly, looking every inch a life-size Barbie in stiletto heels and skintight black leather), Chucky proceeds to turn his human sweetie into a pint-sized Talking Tina doll with attitude, and together they hit the road for a magic amulet and young new bodies to inhabit. They hitch a ride with sweet young runaways Katherine Heigl and Nick Stabile and leave a trail of corpses bloodied, burned and cut to ribbons. The kids are cute, but the real heat is generated by the latex lovers who use murder as foreplay and consummate their renewed romance in a night of passionate sex ("Shouldn't you wear a rubber?" "I'm all rubber!"). Hong Kong director Ronny Yu (The Bride with White Hair) directs with a light touch and against all odds transforms walking dolls Chucky and Tiffany into funny, energetic, full-blooded characters: l'amour fou has never been more crazy. John Ritter costars as Heigl's overprotective uncle (another obstacle on the road to dolly freedom) and Alexis Arquette is hilarious as a lanky goth nerd. The wild conclusion leaves room for another high-concept sequel." --Sean Axmaker, desertcart.com Review: Funny & cheesy - One of the now many sequels to the classic killer doll film and one of my favourites. I love Jennifer Tilly as Tiffany! The animation of the dolls is excellent and there are a lot of in-jokes and nods to other horror films throughout. It's a cheesy story line and not exactly cerebral viewing, but good fun and tongue-in-cheek. Review: Digital movie - There was no adverts it's a if average movie horror

Horror, Comedy
Probably regarded as one of the best in the franchise, I'm glad I have it to watch over and over.

A refreshing take on the Child's Play series of films
Let's forget for a moment about the farcical cringe fests that followed Bride of Chucky. This is a revitalising take on the franchise that is full of laughs, plenty of gore and a film that does not let up for one single second! It isn't entirely believable that Charles Lee Ray was somehow seeing a woman like Tiffany before his death. Especially since there was no mention or clue about her before. But sometimes you have to invent things to put certain new events conveniently in place. For me, this was the last great Chucky film. I didn't care for Seed, Curse or Cult of Chucky even though they tried going back to basics in the last two. I even find the current television show, Chucky, equally ridiculous and now tiresome after a decent first season. As long as you have the first four in your collection then you're good.

Katherine Heigl in Horror Movie ...
Bride of Chucky, also known as Child's Play 4: Bride of Chucky is the second of three horror films co-starring a young Katherine Heigl. In this comic horror she plays a back seat role to 'Chucky' (Brad Dourif) and his bride (Jennifer Tilly) who obviously steal the show. To any of you who are unfamiliar with the Chucky series be prepared for plenty of violent ott killings. Blood and gore hit the screen frequently but it still maintains humour throughout. The picture quality and sound is very good quality and it has a gripping and engaging soundtrack. If not taken too seriously this is an entertaining film and keeps you guessing right up to the end. Certainly it's worth a viewing if you like this sort of thing but hardly what I'd call family entertainment. 6/10 for value.

“I always come back!”
“I always come back!” 1 of the best lines from Chucky. For me this is 1 of the best in the series, violence, humour & 1 liners mixed in with marriage.

An hilarious horror romp
Jennifer Tilly's Tiffany gives Chucky more than he bargained for when he revitalises her in a doll's body. She works perfectly as a double act with him reacting with jealousy and revenge every time he does the dirty on her although she contributes well to his imaginative killing methods.

For me personally, this one was the best sequel after the original, so it's awesome that Bride of Chucky finally gets it's own Blu-ray release. As for picture quality, I was pleasantly surprised. It's not the best of what the format has to offer, but it's light years ahead of the DVD. Audio was also great, with Universal offering a DTS-HD MA track. Bonus features are a little skimpy, but you get a couple of things: * Bride of Chucky Spotlight on location * Feature commentary with Ronny Yu, Jennifer Tilly, Brad Dourif and Don Mancini Overall, a great release for fans who held off on the boxset.
