So DancaTa04/05 Unisex Kids Tap Shoes

My daughter was in a size 2 1/2 So Danca Tap Shoe TA04. This is the largest size that the kids comes in, so naturally I thought that if I ordered the adult size 3 (adult shoe is TA05 - exact same style) that it would fit perfectly. Just to be on the safe side, I decided to order her the TA05 in a 3 and a 3 1/2. Both when put next to the TA04 size 2 1/2 were SMALLER! Crazy, right? I called So Danca and they told me to order like a 7. I didn't want to go back and forth with all the ordering and returning, so I went to a local store and the TA05 that fit my daughter was a 6 1/2! So, when you outgrow a child's 2 1/2, be sure to order a 6 1/2 adult. I was annoyed at the company and asked them not to charge me shipping or especially return shipping, but they did not honor that request. So, I ended up paying about $10 in shipping costs plus the aggravation of having to return the shoes. Even though the local store was more expensive, it's worth it to try on in person. Good luck!
