Clover Straight Tailors Awl (485/W)

I purchased 2 of these. I picked this one because it had a protective case that helped for storage reasons. It helps with reaching into my crafting pouch without getting poked. It is comfortable to use and is a good quality item.

Great tool for sewing.

As most quiltmaker I have a few stilettoes in my collection. This is the best yet. Handle is light and balance, fits my hand comfortably, not too long, not too short, easy to hold and this cause the job of guiding fabric through feed dog to be executed well. This seller is based in the UK. My purchase arrived faster than anticipated so I'm very happy. I might just purchase a few more for each sewing station and travelling pack.

If you are a sewing, you know having the right tools makes a difference in the end results of your project. This awl was purchased to assist with pulling our perfect corners and it does exactly that. Works really great with denim or thinner fabrics like quilting cotton. Also helpful in feeding fabric through the presser foot when sewing. Very sharp so be careful not to poke your eye out!

Fits my hand perfect

When I saw an awl suggested in a sewing book I thought, "I don't need that!" Well, I may not "need" it but I'm quite happy I bought it. It works so much better for guiding fabric under the presser foot than using a pin or my fingers to do the same. I have a Little Foot That Purple Thang- which I had used from time to time but the sharp metal point on the awl works better than the rounded plastic point on the "thang." Try it — you may be like me a wonder how you did without it!

This has been and remains my favorite stitch ripper. I had one but it got lost in the move and had to get a new one. The shape of the handle makes it more comfortable to use than others.

Por fin un punzón que me acompaña a los rincones mas precisos de la costura. De tamaño ideal, tiene buena garre e incluye una fundita para que no pinche dentro la caja de costura.
