Zeal Silicone Non-Stick Cooking Spoon (30cm) -Sage Green, 30 cm

I’m so excited by this lovely spoon. It is a beautiful grey colour, it does not scratch my pans, it stirs sauces and soups and all sorts of other things. It does all the things you would expect a spoon to do and it just looks so fabulous. Never has any other object I have owned in my entire life given me such joy. This is truly the Rolls Royce of spoons, a magnificent specimen of utensil craftsmanship. I believe this spoon will change my life forever, my only regret is that I didn’t discover it sooner. Everyone should have a spoon like this in their kitchen. I will take mine everywhere with me from now onwards, for the rest of my days, as I cannot bear to be separated from it. Never has any other item I have purchased stirred such emotion in me. I urge everyone who reads my review to acquire one of their very own.

We usually have wooden spoons, but my husband cooks a lot of curries and the wooden spoons become tainted by colour and taste, so I wanted something a little more robust. This is certainly robust as it has a metal core, so great for mixing. I won't let my husband use it for his curries, so can't tell if it would become tainted - but definitely doesn't discolour.

For a long time I have wanted a mixing spoon as rigid as a wooden spoon but not as porous and I have finally found my dream spoon. It has a steel core so is fairly hefty. I weighed it and it weighed 126g. You could do some damage with it. Yes it is pretty costly but I don't regret a single penny of the cost, it's everything I've ever wanted in a mixing spoon. Must go now, cakes to make.

the ova shape) of the spoon made it less than effective in stirring saucepans which have a hard bend a the base. It would be much better if the bottom of the spoon was flatter ie the gradual curve was less pronounced so the side and bottom were nearer 90 degrees at each side. For mixing ingredients this is much less of a problem and it is still useful for this.

Really good quality the only thing is that it does stain with tomato sauce. We do rinse it and dish washer it but it is still a little red. We just use this spoon for sauces now

I bought this for making chocolate and needed something sturdy and comfortable to use. This turned out to be the perfect spoon. I may need a couple more. The handle and the spoon are both very sturdy. The bowl is very shallow and unbending but that suits me perfectly as it's only for stirring/tempering chocolate.

The only cooking spoon you’ll ever need. Really good for cooking fried eggs. So easy to clean and never melts or smells. Have bought another now and binned all my wooden ones

I am so very impressed with this spoon - I ordered a 2nd one - it’s a nice length and feels really nice to use weighty but not too weighty and it washes up a treat with no staining and I just love it - if your umming and arrring - I say go for it! -you won’t be disappointed
