Surprisings fans and critics alike, Berlin DJ and producer BOYS NOIZE will release his 4th solo album MAYDAY on May 20, 2016. Alex Ridha, Better known as BOYS NOIZE, made his DJ debut at the age of 15, taking a teenager’s love of house and techno to a global scale, receiving accolades from Rolling Stone, who named him one of the “Top 10 DJ’S WHO RULE THE EARTH," to Beatport, who elected him “Best Electronic Act” 3 years running. His palpable excitement, unmatched technical skill and true-to-the‐heart showmanship have taken him to the world's biggest stages, including 3 performances at Coachella and top-­‐billed slots at Lollapalooza, headlining sets at festivals and clubs on nearly every continent, from Berlin's techno temple Berghain to Justin Vernon's Eaux Claires festival in the woods of Wisconsin. As an artist and producer, Alex Ridha has crafted a peerless, uncompromising but enduring sound and vision, highly respected in the scene, banging from the underground to the big screen, against all conventions. He's remixed Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, David Lynch, Feist, Santigold and Nine Inch Nails, collaborated with Snoop Dogg, Erol Alkan and Jarvis Cocker, worked on Mark Ronson's "Uptown Special" and recently on the soundtrack of Oliver Stone´s new movie "Snowden," and released group projects with pianist Chilly Gonzales (Octave Minds), Skrillex (Dog Blood) and Mr. Oizo (Handbraekes). Now BOYS NOIZE is back with MAYDAY, his most dynamic, audacious album to date. Infectiously energetic, embracing the energy and spirit of punk fused with the raw power of modern techno, MAYDAY features collaborations with POLICA, HUDSON MOHAWKE , REMY BANKS, SPANK ROCK, BENGA and several secret guests (this time you have to read the liner notes). “I always try to challenge myself as a producer and a musician.
