Thought it was a gimmick
Though it was a gimmick, turned put to be daily use.Only annoyance is width of base stand for scales. Not quite wide enough

It’s awkward to out together
I’ve given it 5 stars as it was a gift to my son. Unfortunately he didn’t think he would use it so I returned it. It was awkward to put together and did seem a bit of a waste as he is using the coffee press while travelling. I’m sure it is good if you are in one place.
