SCALIBOR contains deltamethrin. Slow release of the active ingredient directly to the skin of the dog for a sustained period controls paralysis ticks (Ixodes holocyclus) for up to 14 weeks and brown dog ticks (Rhipicephalus sanguineus) for up to 26 weeks. One easy application protects dogs from paralysis ticks for 3 months. Scalibor is completely odourless and is safe to use in puppies from 8 weeks of age. The flexible collar is large enough to fit the biggest of dogs and is easily cut to fit small dogs too.

After several weeks of wearing the collar during summer, in a yard treated for ticks and fleas, there are fleas on the dogs tail end.
