I’ve been using the Dove soap bar for a while now and it’s great. It leaves my skin feeling soft and clean without drying it out. The scent is light and fresh. Definitely a reliable everyday soap.

First time trying this bar soap usually I buy the pink caress or mango caress but now that I’ve seen how sudsy the zest bar gets I realize caress made hardly any suds at all. This zest bar gets very creamy and the scent actually lasts on the skin way after showering. The caress you can smell the scent through the box of soap when you buy it but when it gets wet has no scent or on the skin after. This bar does leave a tiny bit of that dry feeling on your skin but you also feel clean. I know which one I’ll buy now. The scent isnt manly or female necessarily I’d say both could use it, it’s sort of like the ocean scented vO5 but a milder DIAL soap version if I had to find a way to describe it.

Love the soap smell

Every time I open a bar of Zest soap it takes me straight back to my grandma’s house when I was a kid. She always had it in the bathroom and the whole place smelled clean and fresh in that way only thisnsoap can. I didn’t even realize how much I missed that scent until I came across it again as an adult so had to buy it.The smell is just so clean and comforting not too strong but fresh enough to fill the bathroom. It lathers up nice and doesn’t leave any weird film on your skin. I’ve tried fancier soaps but nothing beats this simple bar for making me feel truly clean. And the nostalgia it brings is honestly priceless.Using Zest now makes me feel like I’m wrapped in one of grandma’s old fluffy towels after a bath she ran for me. It’s like a little memory every time I shower.If you grew up with this soap or just want something that smells good and works well I highly recomend giving it a try. Sometimes the old classics are still the best. I’ll keep buying it as long as they keep making it. Minus 1 star because it's not my absolute fave soap, but still fantastic. Miss ya grandma!
