A cake leveler is a game changer. I have always struggled with getting my tiers even and this took all the guesswork out of it. It was easy to use and easy to clean. It doesn’t take up a ton if space in storage and was worth every penny to me. The quality of the item is high tier and anyone would be able to use the product.

Planned on using it to slice cheesecakes. It takes a little more work for that. It does work, and I’m sure it would work amazing for leveling cakes if you have a steady hand. Sturdy enough and adjustable. Depending on your intended use, it could be perfect!!

So easy to use and clean! I've never made a layered cake before so I was anxious with my ability to cut a cake straight/even. This tool is so easy to use, I love that you can adjust where the wire sits so you can get the perfect slice to either trim the top or split in two even pieces. Didn't need much cleaning, a crumb here or there came right off with a quick once-over with a soapy sponge, I wouldn't attempt to clean it in the dishwasher though, I can imagine the wire getting warped from the heat. It's a great quality considering it's plastic and less than $10.

I like how it can be adjusted to different levels, but it cannot cut cake surface smoothly.

I use this cutter for makes soap loaves cut on the diagonal. I highly recommend it for this type of project as well as for cutting cakes. It's very durable and cuts into my soap like butter. There are many sizes out there but this one is just perfect for smaller projects.

I purchased this for birthday cake making as buying specialty cakes has become quite expensive. I found it easy to adjust to the level of cut/s I needed. The cut was clean and even. It was easy to clean.
