I bought this to make fins for the booster stage of an L2 high-power rocket. In the past I have purchased similar material from Chinese vendors on eBay and had to wait many weeks for it to show up in the mail. This arrived right on time. The surface is flawless; the edges are smooth, square and true. As you would expect, it is very strong. I won't hesitate to buy from this source for my next project.Other reviewers of similar carbon fiber plates have complained that they are a couple of millimeters narrower than indicated in the listing. The same is true here, so consider the size "nominal". Also, the thickness is listed as 2.5mm but my piece varied from 2.60 to 2.64mm. No big deal to me, but be forewarned if you need the dimensions to be exact.

The carbon fiber looks great! I bought the matte 6mm thick one and it’s solid as a rock. I could have easily gone with the 3-4mm thick one for my project and it would have been plenty. If you are looking for a solid sheet of carbon fiber, this is it.

Great quality no defects, It machined beautifully leaving nice clean edges with very little frey. The finish is ultra glossy and the price was significantly less then other manufactures I've ordered from even competitive to Chinese prices. The plate arrived in just a few days, and one day earlier than I expected. I used this plate to make a quad copter frame and it came out perfect. I would highly recommend ARRIS to hobbiest and professionals alike.

It measured only a tiny bit under 1.5mm. but is good true carbon fiber for the price.Keep in mine the classic carbon fiber weave pattern is only on the surface finish, if you mill a pocket into this it's solid black looking.

I'm glad I found this item. I needed something to reinforce a plastic item that was fatigued and breaking. I cut the carbon fiber sheet with a Dremel and shaped it as required, and then riveted the carbon fiber to the plastic item. Cutting the carbon fiber with the Dremel was not difficult. Drilling the carbon fiber was not difficult but it was noticeably harder to drill through than the plastic, as one may expect.I can see that I will find many more uses for carbon fiber to reinforce plastic parts in the future and wish that larger pieces could be obtained. I'll keep looking for the larger sheets/panels.

Was purchased to put paint samples on it. Worked good for that

This sheet of CF is really gorgeous. I like it a lot and it is very well made, however, it was a little shorter than what was advertised (although they mention that this could happen) and I wish it was a little bit cheaper. But, other than that, it looks GREAT!

good clean flawless weave on surface....use on my router table to make quadcopter parts! Very nice! Has protective film on both sides

High quality carbon fiber sheet. Will not hesitate to reorder Arris products. Very satisfied.
