So I will preface this review by saying that I am a Derm ARNP provider for a living so know a little bit about the skin. I work in a medical facility that does perform cosmetic procedures as it is insurance only for medical needs. So, I either can go have it done professionally or I can do it at home. Now, there ARE some procedures that I would ONLY do professionally. While I know its temping to cut corners and save the pricey services done at a spa, I am also concerned about safety and quality and therefore only do that at home for which I feel comfortable. I DO feel comfortable w/this blade to do on my own. do NOT waste your money on the vibrating one by another brand. it is more $$ but was on sale one day so I got it. sent it back b/c there is literally NO comparison to this which is the real deal. The vibrating one has a little cage over the blade (understandably for safety) and one would have to go over an area 4 times and it still does not do what this one does w/ONE pass over. I think people may like the other one b/c they are not aware of what this is supposed to do. so perhaps any results are better than none so they still feel like they are doing something. but THIS is the tool to go with . it works GREAT and if you are careful and follow instructions, you can get the professional results at home. PLEASE watch an instructional video tho just to be sure you are safe to your delicate face! it easy to use and the blades work for 4 uses which is also much better than the vibrating one which needs the blade replaced after every time. and no charging needed for this. its wonderful. and for those on here that mentioned the price. I know some things out there are "just a name brand" or a bit over the top but please do NOT just shave w a razor to further save money. this is dermaplaning! it may feel like you are still getting results w/a normal razor b/c its still removing but its NOT dermaplaning. by buying this you are already saving money by not having to pay spa prices for a professional that actually has training. please do not cut any more corners. this is a quality tool for dermaplaning.

I'll start this off by saying: yes, I have tried a bunch of different dermaplaning tools. I've tried the extremely cheap ones with the plastic handles, I've tried the brand Jill, I've tried several other tools on Amazon with diff functions like LED light for better view, etc. NONE of those worked out, they sucked actually. they were not sharp, not durable, the plastic ones are too much waste. this tool from Stacked is the BEST one I've ever tried. it's sharp, it's easy to use, it has a really nice feel to it, it's pretty. it is very sharp so you have to be careful, my skin is a little bit sensitive in some spots because I wasn't careful enough lol. Always make sure to wipe and clean your tool after each use. I won't be going back to any of the old brand I used. Stacked is the one. if you're looking for the perfect tool, don't hesitate and buy it!EDIT: Two years after my original purchase and review and I'm still using Stacked. I haven't looked back since. Still using the original blade it came with too because it works just fine, slightly dulled which I don't mind since the original blade was actually very sharp! Lasts a long time, quality is unmatched, worth the money.

I am 55. While I haven't been stopped on the street by people telling me my skin looks as amazing as it feels to me, I find using this product is beneficial in several ways. I like the way the blade is formed versus a straight razor edge (not sure it works any differently). The video on line is helpful. I use it about every other week and have noticed I use less product on my face (cost savings, more product absorbed) and I get a good amount of dead skin even though I do exfoliate regularly. So this seems to get a little more yuck off my face than my products. For the price, I think it does a good job and it is pretty quick as well as the blade is long.

It does a good job, but they really should be single use blades. They dull quickly and unless you change them everytime you will end up with a bacterial infection on your face. Decent product but not for the price. Definitely can find something comparable for a lot cheaper!Update: I tried a cheaper product and it just doesn't compare. I'm back to this product. I added a star because it's the best product I've found, but for single use blades they are way too expensive!!
