AQUANEAT LED Aquarium Light Blue and White for 12 Inch to 16 Inch Fish Tank Light Fresh Water Light

I decided to give growing Venus Flytraps from seeds a try. I bought a 2-gallon glass aquarium with a flat glass lid. I ordered this light to fix over the top of the glass lid which was 12 inches long and it is adjustable so it fits perfectly. Since it is LED lights I leave it on all the time and it generates no heat and is cool to the touch. This week I finally had seeds to sprout and the fun begins with the flytraps. I could see this working great with small fish tanks glass, plastic, or acrylic. If it provides enough light to cause my flytrap seeds to sprout it should be great for fish or live plants. It does have a few random blue lights mixed in with the clear lights, it is super bright which was a surprise to me. So far no issues at all and it has been on 24/7 since the day it arrived. The bracket that holds the light is easy to adjust and sits great on top of my 2-gallon aquarium that I use as a terrarium.

This is a great value as it is less expensive than most brands. It is bright enough to penitrate deep tanks and it has a nice manual switch. I like the long cord and quality. What I don't like is that it only has one full spectrum daylight array with no way to separate the spectrum of color on the switch. It can lay flat to the glass or has the metal legs to stand a above the glass. I like the stand legs bc I have an acrylics tank and laying flat would warp the plexiglass lid.

What a great light for your tank. I bought this for my turtle tank and this light is perfect. Its super bright for its size and is very sleek looking. its very light in weight and on off button is very sturdy. the price is unbelievable for what you get. highly recommended this product!UPDATE 3/25/2023The light finally burned out after 4 years. I should also I have dropped this light in the water like 10 times...maybe more. My opinion hasn't changed. This light is incredible for the price. It lasted a very long time for all the abuse it took.

I ordered the smallest one (10" or 12" I think). Arrived quickly and in good condition. I have an extra tank that is a 35 gallon acrylic and I didn't want to spend much on this one so twelve Washington's seemed like a decent price. It fits right over the center support (positioned front to back) and lights up the tank much better than I expected. I would want a longer light if it were my main tank, but it works great for the purpose. The color is definitely a very cool white and not a warm white. It makes my 100 gallon tank (with Finnex 24/7's) look yellow by comparison lol. But nothing wrong with it, just a different color spectrum. The blue lights come on with the white ones. You can't turn on the blue lights only without the white ones if that matters to you. I like the location of the on/off button. It's very easy to position it for easy reach. I can't speak for longetivity but it's working good so far and it seems pretty bright for what it is.

I ordered this because the light bulb of the fish tank warmed up the water too much. This light was such an improvement as the color/brightness and temp of it is great. I would recommend.

Works as a light, but poor design. The brackets pull right out of the light. There is nothing actually holding them in.

Given you are doing fish only, best bang for the buck! Super bright, clear, and a perfect spectrum for viewing. I tried against more expensive lights with all the features. None compared to the day light clarity. Only 2 down side is no blue only option for night. And it’s completely manual (on / off). Bit should work with a standard mechanical timer.

I purchased 2 of these for 2 10 gallon tanks they are a bit smaller than I thought but lights the tank up very nicely. No complaints will update if any arise.
