I bought this as a Christmas present for my daughter. She loves the set. It has everything you might need. I didn't realize it included a knife. I suppose it's for sharpening the graphite. Very nice set!

This is a very good set for the money. Good color density, smooth application and blend well. Value for money.

These go down smoothly and hold up well to sharpening and erasing. They look great on black paper or card stock. The pencils themselves are very sturdy and easy to hold.

I've used charcoal a few times before so I bought this. So far they aren't the best, you get what you paid for I guess. The compressed charcoal sucks. You have to press really hard to get anything on paper. I tried to scrape a layer off cause there was some type of layer on the charcoal and they still don't do anything. The pencils are okay some work some don't. The ones that work are pretty good but the others don't do anything. No matter how hard you press it's marks very light. Another problem is that they don't blend very well either. It could be my fault but I put multiple layers and it doesn't blend you can see streaks. The rest of it is okay. I like that It comes with a exacto knife but the rest of it is not the best quality.
