Purchased for use on a train
I love to travel by train. I don't need a destination. The journey is the vacation. In October 2021, I took an 8-day train trip out west. I had a coach seat. I had a small travel blanket/pillow that I used. It was great as a pillow, but not so good as a blanket. For an upcoming 8-day train trip, I started looking for a better blanket. I wanted something light weight but moderately warm, soft, and reasonably priced. I bought more than one, but this fit the bill. The main thing I was looking for was something that was long enough to cover me up to my neck and had a pouch for my feet. This blanket also has snaps on the edge, so I can put my feet in the pocket, then snap one of the lower snaps and my legs are encased. It's long enough to cover my head. The CONS? It works well if I'm sitting upright, but it could be a little wider for sleeping on my side. The other con, for me, is that it folds into a self-pouch, but it takes up more room in my bag than I'm willing to sacrifice. (I'm a minimalist packer.) Instead, I put it in a vacuum bag and squeezed out the air. It was nice and flat and fit in my carry-on suitcase quite well. I look forward to many more nights on trains with this very pretty and cozy blanket.

Genius Blanket
This thing is amazing:- Very soft, and I washed it and there was no weird fuzzies situation.- The foot pockets are genius. It's like a blanket that is sort of a sleeping bag. This means the blanket doesn't have to be as large, because your feet won't poke out of it and you will stay warm. It's a good size for one person but just illustrating the point.- You can use snaps to wear it as a bib?! Super weird, unless you're traveling and don't want it to fall down while using your hands, and then it's amazing.- Folds into itself to become a pillow, which I didn't realize I thought it had a separate bag... and the material of the pocket is smoother, it's really nice.- Really versatile for travel: sometimes you can't predict if you will need a pillow or a blanket or a lumbar support, so this is a great combo for any situation. It's very compact too! This is not a promotional offer review I just bought it and think it's great.

Soft, long, and fuzz free
I bought this blanket for an upcoming 10 hour flight that I plan to try and sleep on.Length/snaps: I’m 5’9”, so I was skeptical about the length of the blanket and figured I’d have to settle for a lap blanket at some times and a arm/shoulder blanket at other times. I was pleasantly surprised to find that this blanket is plenty long! I could snap it behind my neck and still have my feet in the foot pouches with plenty of slack!! I love the snaps (which are all along the ends) because I hate fighting to keep a blanket up over my shoulders. I found that using the third snap from the top instead of the first one creates a sort of shoulder flap that stays behind me and doesn’t budge if I reach for my phone or kindle.Pouch: The pouch is so convenient! I plan to keep my headphones and my phone in there when I’m not using them so I don’t have to fumble with my carry-on bag and disrupt everyone around me.I love that the blanket folds into its pouch that doubles as a carrying case for the blanket. You don’t have to fold it perfectly for it to fit back in its pouch, either, which is really practical. Who can fold a blanket with precision while in an airplane seat, anyway?Thickness/softness/fuzzies: the blanket is neither too thin nor too thick. It is a great weight. It’s thicker than a cheap throw, but thinner than a cobija. I’ll be wearing layers for this flight, but even if I was in shorts and a tank I’d be fairly comfortable with the warmth from this blanket, and I run cold. The blanket is soft and fuzzy, but it does not shed! No little fuzzies everywhere that other travel blankets on Amazon seem to leave behind. This is hands down the best travel blanket I’ve ever owned. I will be using this every time I travel. Plain, train, or car, this is the one.

Nice travel blanket, needs usage instructions
The blanket is large, soft with great features like neck snaps to keep it from sliding, a pocket for items like your phone, and slots for your feet. However, as other reviewers have noted, it is NOT easy to figure out to fold the blanket back into the zipper, and it comes with no instructions. It literally took about 10 minutes, stretching the blanket across my bed at home, and all kinds of folding maneuvers before I finally stumbled on a way to get it zippered. I don’t know how well I’ll be able to do that while in a seat on a plane. I’ll practice a couple more times before I travel but as ingeniously designed as it is, they should have realized it would be used by people who don’t have the benefit of that particular genius! That’s the only shortcoming of the blanket, but unfortunately it’s a real one. But I’m hoping with practice I’ll get the hang of it. I may also see it I can find a video online, or perhaps the seller will be so kind to post one!

Perfect softness and warmth
Bought this blanket for trips to use at airports and airplanes. The blanket is so soft, warm and cuddly that it is used on the couch, in the vehicle and sitting around the fireplace. My grandchildren all love it so I am buying them all their own! Great buy!
