Utopia Crafts Aran Knitting and Crochet Yarn, 400g (Nature Silk)

Love this wool, it knits well and has a thick bouncy texture. Its for a baby blanket, and the warmth from it as I knit is wonderful. The little baby who gets this from the Charity is going to be toasty and warm.I bought a ball of blue and a ball of white from this same range but the blue and white are very thin in comparison, even though they are all Aran weight yarns. Its disappointing because the texture needs to be the same for the blanket tension.The delivery was fast, and I appreciated the massive box for one ball of wool.

The wool is true to color and it's really soft. Well impressed with the finished result. Would definitely buy this wool again. Highly recommend.

Got it delivered yesterday and started work immediately. I bought Blue Charcoal. It's a beautiful color and very soft yarn. Easy to work with. Great for scarfs.

Making heritage throws for my adult children. This yarn is good it makes up nicely and I have only found one knot in 800 grm. It does seem thicker than the average Aran so I will use a higher hook next time but it gives great definition of the stitches. My only concern is that it is an unknown brand and I changed some of my stitches which are more yarn hungry than the pattern suggested. I went to order an extra ball only to find them out of stock, being an unknown brand means it can’t be replaced anywhere else. I am very happy with the yarn itself.

I was really surprised by the thickness, softness and quality of this yarn.Easy to work with, it doesn't split or pile.I immediately bought some more.Edited to add the black is much finer than the other colours and is more like double knitting than Aran, which is very disappointing

Je l'ai achetée pour faire un tapis de sol, je la crochète au n° 5 et c'est juste ce qu'il faut pour un résultat ferme et souple à la fois. De plus elle est facile à travailler et douce.Petit bémol, le coloris "pierre sable" est beaucoup plus gris que je ne pensais mais bon se sont les aléas des coloris sur les photos.Un très bon rapport-qualité-prix, je reviendrai ..
