Does more than any other dock I've had, though Ethernet gets hot.
I was using this primarily to obtain USB-C video out to connect to a portable monitor, which worked flawlessly, consistent with other reviews. I then decided to try a few other things out. First, I switched my ethernet cable from my other dock to this dock, and it worked perfectly fine, but this dock got very hot, so I decided to leave that on my other dock. It would, in all likelihood, be fine, but I didn't want to risk it. It would be cool if they fixed that somehow, so that I could get rid of my other dock. Second, I decided to see how this would handle my ultrawide monitor via HDMI, even though I had my laptop outputting via Displayport. Initially, at 3440x1440, the resolution was very distorted. I went into the advanced display setting for the 3440x1440 monitor within Win 11, and changed the refresh rate from 60hz to 100hz (max supported by my monitor over HDMI), and it completely fixed my resolution. This dock is exactly what I needed to be able to use two PCs in parallel, while sharing a portable USB-C monitor between the two PCs. The price is also excellent for what you get. Hoping this thing lasts me a long time, I've had it for a couple months or so now.

Seller cops out on poor product
Worked okay for about a year, but occasionally would disconnect network or video or would overheat. This happened much more frequently the past couple months to the point I asked the seller about warranty replacement. Rather than support their product they just waived it off and told me it should only be used for short periods and unplugged when not using the computer... Its a docking station, so thats ridiculous. Avoid this brand.

Great for getting USB-C video output! One caveat: HDMI can be capped at [email protected] Hz
My work laptop has two Thunderbolt ports and I've been using both for video output: the first for connecting to an eGPU and the second for driving an ASUS monitor with touch and pen input. Thanks to this docking station with USB C Video+Data USB-C port, I'm glad that I can now get both Ethernet and Display output from the second Thunderbolt port. What has been tested to work (on Win 11 laptop): 1. The ASUS monitor with touch and pen input still works a intended (one may need to configure it again in "Tablet PC Settings"). 2. The Ethernet connection is solid, at 1000/1000 Mbps. What doesn't work as expected: 1. With the port for USB C Video+Data connected and Ethernet cable connected, the HDMI output only supports [email protected] Hz. The same cable+monitor works at 4K@60 Hz when connected to the laptop's HDMI port directly. 2. When a DJI mic was connected to the USB-C port on the hub for the first time, the mic wasn't registered. Rebooting helped.

Good, but USB-C video output does not work
I bought this device in February 2025. Initially purchased to connect my Samsung S24 Ultra to my Dopesplay Lapdock with Samsung Dex support to be able to connect additional peripherals with my laptop-like experience. Without this device, my phone connects to the lapdock fine, but with this device the usb-c output does not work. HDMI works well, so if that is your use-case, then it should be fine. I reached out to Inateck, and they sent me a replacement to attempt to see if it was the one device I received. It was not. Still on the hunt for a usb-c dock with video output to use with these two devices. The build quality feels fine, but it is very light, leading me to believe (without a teardown) that some of the internals are made of cheap parts, lacking potential safety features. While I don't know this for sure, I strongly suspect it. I would recommend this if you are using it for HDMI output and if you are not leaving it plugged in 24/7. For $50, it is not what I wanted.

Indeed USB-C Video Out
one of the very few usb-c hub right now that can output video via usb-c port. This allows you to connect a usb-c monitor, and hdmi monitor at the same time. it also allows the usb device connected to your usb-c monitor to work with the laptop. it does require external usb-c power supply when used to drive dual monitor (i.e. if the usb-c monitor provides 65W power, and it is connected to the usb-c video out port, it won't be able to power the hub and hence no video out). Excellent price. it does run hot though, feel hot touching, I can barely keep my finger on the top surface when charging laptop. taking one-star off because of the lack in cooling. when not using it to charge laptop (i.e. laptop powered by its own power supply), then it is just very warm not hot

I couldn't test the camera
The camera part doesn't seem to work with my laptop, but I've tried hdmi, and that doesn't work either. I have a hybrid notebook, but the rest works excellent. I had tried another like this, and every time I would unplug anything the whole things would stop working. This one works great in every way (and likely the camera port too)

Not recommended for a monitor- the only reason you'd buy this one
Made of cheap plastic, not metal (like I would expect for this price), and it gets pretty hot. I bought this because I wanted to use my USB-C portable monitor with it. This hub is unfortunately too finnicky for me. If I up the brightness just a little bit on my monitor the hub cuts out, even when I have a laptop charger plugged into the PD port. This doesn't happen when plugged into any other device. On windows, it correctly picked up that my monitor was 1440p 144hz and worked fine. On Linux, every time I plugged it in, I got a different resolution and refresh rate. My monitor works totally fine when plugged straight into my laptop, so something is weird with this hub. Disappointing for $50.

Steam Deck + DP Alt Mode + Portable Monitor
I've been searching for a long time for a USB-C dock with DP Alt Mode for my Steam Deck and portable monitor. It works exactly how it should, powering on the portable monitor and all other peripherals without issue.
