Works a treat.
I have Nikon flash guns as well as Godox and wanted to use the Nikon's off camera using my Godox triggers. The X1R N gives TTL and manual flash control and is very easy to set up. The trigger cant control compensation through the X1R N like it can with Godox flash but I expected that.

Easy to use with Godox Pro-N "controller"
Works as expected. Very easy to set Channel and Group. I have 4 of these, each one attached to a Nikon SB800 (remember to set this to TTL). They are used in conjunction with a Nikon D800 and Godox XPro-N to control the settings. I have used this system up to about 10m with no issues even with these receivers hidden from direct view of the camera and XPro-N (which is why it was chosen over the Nikon SU800 with it's optical control). As far as I can tell everything works fine in the various flash modes - High Speed Sync, TTL and Manual. Note: the Nikon system (D800) can only work with Groups A, B and C in TTL modes.

Decent reciever
It does what it says on the Tin, it allows me to use a non Godox flash with my Godox kit. Not pushed how far it works but no complaints so far

Will not work with Bowens Esprit (old model)
Bought this receiver hoping to combine an old Bowens Esprit with Godox studio flash but it will not trigger this old version of Bowens. I also have some newer Bowens Gemini and it does work with them. Hence 4 stars instead of 5.

Very good receiver
Originally purchased the X1R-S to use with the X1T-S for my Sony Camera, however ran into issues which was down to the X1R-S and at the time, there wasn't a firmware available (there is now). I purchased the X1R-N which is typically for Nikon, though does respond to the other Godox triggers despite what model they are for. Worked a treat; with the Nikon receiver and Sony trigger, I was able to remotely flash the Neo 2, even in high speed sync.

Godox X1R N
The Godox X1R will be used to trigger a remote camera triggered by a X1T N also it will be used to trigger a non Godox flash.

Can’t fault
Triggered the flash fine when prompted by an X2T. But see my review of the X2T where I found compatibility issues with a Nikon Z9. As with the X2, I think these are good value for money.
