It charges phone fine connected in my car’s usb c slot and like the fact that it doesn’t have cord dangling when not in use. Good value for money. Durability wise it has held up on 90 degree heat just fine but I do take care to expand it and contract it slowly when I’m using it. So will see if it will last.

The retracting mechanism is very smooth and well made. The body was surprisingly good quality, I expected a cheap plastic feel but it's velvety smooth and shiny. I love that the cord is flat. Works great on the go with my portable charger.

Compact and spools back in smoothly every time. I keep one in all of my work/travel bags to use with wall chargers and power banks. Works at 100W as advertised. Having it in the spool saves me from having to dig out a tangle of cable. Being a flat cable prevents twists and makes the retracted package more compact than if it were round. Have been carrying it daily and using it a few times a week and it still looks and functions the same as when I received it.

after posting the previous review down below, the company contacted me and sent me a new item and apologized for any inconvenience, new product works great, and the fact that the company wants the maintain their quality and good customer relations earn some of fourth star. none of the issues I reported in my first review appeared in this latest product so I think everything’s good. Earlier review-appears well made, and is as advertised however, after only me a month of use, they don’t always connect well enough to charge so you have to jiggle the connector a little and it’s not the devices cause it happens on most of all the devices and when I use a different cable or it’s all fine

Really handy to have in your laptop bag and anywhere you occasionally need a usb c connection that’s not permanently connected. I mostly work from home but go into the office on occasion and this is part of my travel bag now.

Used to keep two charging cables in my car and they always got entangled. Replaced my main charging cable with this and instantly got rid of the mess. It's retractable and can be kept at various lengths, charges quickly and doesn't get easily pulled out of the port.

It’s a fun little device I like how you can retract it and it stays neat and tidy it is great for an EDC because it compacts feel small and makes things organized and is all black

Bulkier than I'd like, but it's the only one I could find that extends to 2 meters, and that trumps the bulkiness.
