This is our go to for our chickens - it has helped them thrive, so good for their health and the health of their eggs, and so easy to add into our routine. Worth every penny! A must if you have egg producing hens. They will love you for it. Our girls get so excited anytime we come out to add it to their mix, and so easy to digest for them compared with others. If you love your chickens, this is the best for them!!! We have bought this product for almost two years now, and will continue as we’ve seen the difference without. It’s worth every penny!!

It’s a good product as long as your chickens actually eat it.

A must for laying egg birds. Doesn't matter which bird. This kind a bit to big for small birds. Never had soft egg shells. Good quality.

Not meant for coturnix quail... It turns out that not all oyster/calcium supplements are made equal. These are hard, round balls of calcium. For large breed chickens, they'd probably work just fine. But for birds the size of little bantam chickens, or tiny ones like our quail, these are far too large! Worse, they don't break down very easily. We found a workaround by dedicating an old blender to grinding duty (it doesn't flake into smaller sizes, just turns to pulverized dust; don't breathe it in!!)We've dusted their grit and food with the resulting calcium dust of this product when ground down. Though the birds have generally had very healthy eggshells with this product, the size for quail doesn't work for us, so I don't plan on buying this again. Deducted one star because the size of the product wasn't very clear when I was doing product research.

Bought these for my chickens to keep them healthy. I keep them in a bowl in their coop and they eat them as needed. They are small in size, perfect for chickens to peck. My chickens approve!

Purchased this several times now, it’s been great for my chickens shells. Definitely makes a difference.
