My neighbors and I are having fun with these lights. You don't have to drill a hole in the bottom of the bottle. The batteries are in the cork that comes with the lights. They last several hours. Have been giving them out as gifts to friends as they look cool in the dark on a cold winter's night. Batteries are easy to change and are a common size. My local ACE had a great deal on battery prices so I am ready to use this light for some time

This are a good buy! Just shove them into a wine bottle and they are beautiful at night!! Love the warm light and it is just enough to light up steps!

I had seen this particular item at a friends house and I am taking them to my parents house for the 4th of July party. I think they are perfect for the evenings decorations.

These are pretty neat, but the hard plastic stopper doesn't fit in a lot of bottles (it's too small for our Crystal Head vodka bottle, but too large for anything smaller than your standard 5th bottle) We wrapped some rubber bands around the stopper, and then put electric tape around that in order to stay put in some of our bottles.My other complaint could possibly be a poor battery issue, which I have not tested, but some of the colors like blue and purple aren't nearly as bright after only an hour or so of use. I know some colors of LEDs use different power, but our green and red ones are super bright still, while the blue and purple have darkened substantially, again after maybe a total of an hour of use.
