Interesting Features, No Information on Adjustments
This was an interesting piece, because I sometimes work with radios and other pieces of equipment or handheld ham radios under certain circumstances. It wasn't clear to me where this would be useful, but it was a unique approach so I thought I'd try it out. In the process of trying it out I realized it would work very well underneath the high viz rain jacket that I sometimes need to wear in wet weather. The jacket has lousy inside pockets and nowhere useful to put a radio in out of the wet. This holster solves that problem, in addition to having clips and pockets for other items that should be handy. My version did not come with any information or instructions, although there are videos on the Amazon site. Probably a two person exercise to get it fitted comfortably the first time, and after that goes on fairly easily. I am a big person (6'4", 280 lbs) and I didn't quite max out the adjustable factors.I can tell that it will take a few wearings as well to sort out which straps to adjust in which direction, which things are not needed for my purposes and remove them, et cetera. In that respect the item is very versatile and includes a lot of pieces that can be used or left off as is needed. What may not be immediately noticeable from the listing, but which is shown if you know to look for it, is that in addition to the main radio pouch on the front, there are a number of other straps and clip places and holders on the inside of the unit as well.So overall, definitely useful in certain circumstances, a little confusing to get fitted, but very versatile.Over all, the strapping seems very durable with the exception of some elastic pieces. These feel like they will stretch out and lose their elasticity, but of course *if* that happens it won't be known for a while.
