Golden Nuggets, 375g

Couldn't get this even in local supermarkets so although £1 postage it was worth it to get one of my favourite breakfast cereals. the taste and texture is something different from the rest, whilst still suiting my sweet tooth.

Yummy but hard to chew as they are very crubchy

Loved this as a child and as a rare adult treat as its far too sweet to be a regular cereal choice but once in a blue moon retro classic won't hurt.

I bought this out of nostalgia, having fond memories of being a kid in London for the first time, 1971, just 5 years old, having lived in Papua New Guinea. So eating Golden Nuggets was like having a party in my mouth with everyone invited. Alas, the recipe has changed. The original Nabisco recipe has changed under Nestle - yep I researched this - and it just aint what it used to be. I love your products Nestle, too many to mention, but you dropped the ball on this one. BIG TIME! It's boring, lacks life, lacks personality, dull on the palette, and colour lacks the same lustre the original had. Dull, dull, dull! And don't talk to me about having too much sugar. Exercise more, people! Whinge less! But maybe my memories are just adding some extra sweetness that is impossible to compete with. So I'm giving you an extra star Nestle because of this.
