Great gift for a beginning bird-watcher.
All my grandkids are now bird-watchers, thanks to these binoculars!. They are easy to keep clean, store, and use. I purchased the straps that fit around your shoulders, so the binoculars can hang when not in use.

It was very dissapointing because I was all exited to start bird watching,

Lens caps missing (from both orders) and clarity poor
The box that was supposed to have the lens caps in them were empty in the original purchase and the replacement. And the magnification was extremely poor--worse than the lesser one I bought at a thrift store.

Different Binoculars from Picture
The pictured binoculars are relatively nice ones worth $100+. The pair I received are a clearance bin item with an MSRP closer to $30. Still a savings, but it's on junk. Maybe I'll gift them away or something.
