It’s been a long time since I sat in a cubicle and now that I’mBack in that environment, light is very important to me. Not only for the obvious reasons but also because I miss the sun and my body isn’t accustomed to sitting under fluorescents any more. I was super excited for this to come in thinking it would solve all of my problems and I caught it on sale so, even better!I have use it for a week now and I do love it. I either use it while reading or tasking or while I’m eating lunch at my desk. The light can get pretty bright or dim down lower to a non retina burning setting. I’m thankful for the options it provides. You can also choose between cool and warm light, and time settings. My go to is warm, dim, 30 minutes right in front of my face. I love it. IMO, this lamp is 100% intended for light therapy and not so much to provide light for your eyes.I am searching for another light for my desk but this one will stay. I can absolutely feel the energy and almost improved mood vs sitting under the fluorescents all day. I’m a fan. We all need sunlight in our lives and this is as close as I can get while in office.

I think it looks neat, more like an accent lamp than a medical device. It still has the full power like previous lamps I’ve used, but gives more control on both the color (more bluish or a warmer white) and the brightness. The light can also be tilted on the stand. I am very pleased.

While the plastic like look does make it seem a bit cheap, it is actually quite bright. The timer works well on it and it does not weigh a lot.

I wasnt sure if this would actually help with SAD, but thought I'd give it a try. Sure enough, the extra light boost helped get me through an awful Midwest winter. I'll be using it again next season.

We were looking for an adjustable brightnes lamp to put next to our baby's crib for a small amount of light when we wanted to check on him. This works great as a sun lamp, but not great as a soft light that doesnt disturb when turned on.It's too bad because it has a really neat, sleek look and convenient remote. Downside is it's all plastic and felt kind of cheap when turning the lamp face. It's 50/50 when considering the value vs cost.

Light is really nice. Don't drop it. It's made of cheap plastic. But nice to have on while working at different settings. I use the timer every hour to remind me to get up and stretch, walk, and drink water when I have to cut it back on after going out. Also very nice a night when I fall asleep it will go off in it own. Also I'll set it before leaving home just to through off nosey neighbors a bit. :)

It has a nice design and easy to use features like the timer and the brightness. I have it at my office to brighten my day

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Without the shade, it will literally make you see colors, even without directly looking into it.. I started to have vision problems after using this for a few weeks straight. I hope this company succeeds but sadly it’s not for me.
