The hitting mat is very sturdy and held its ground when in use. The green area does its job and gets darker depending on where the club travels. It’s a great practice tool at home and can be brought anywhere to use. While it shows you where your club is going, one has to keep in mind to reflect and change one’s grip, stance, hip rotation and so forth to correct one’s swing. Something that I, as a beginner, learned through an instructor. So even though I have had this mat for a while, I have just recently learned how to use it to better my practice. So I guess what I’m trying to say is that one should have an understanding of a swing to get the most of this hitting mat because it does what’s it’s stated to do. With that I would definitely buy this for my friends who golf.

Overall the product worked as advertised but the quality was disappointing. The material will not last long and showed real signs of wear after only 10-15 swings. I ended up returning it because I wanted something more long term, but for the price it will work in a limited/temporary use scenario.
