Cleopatra Costume

Honestly, I compared this costume to several others prior to deciding on this one. My daughter is 9 years old but tall for her age. It came down to her ankles and fit perfect. I looked at the other reviews and saw some criticism but a lot of those people did not iron their costume which greatly improves the appearance and optics of quality. You can do a lot to this costume but it would be just fine out the package without the extra add ons if you choose not to add any. When opening the package I noticed one of the strands of beads from the headpiece had already fallen off. This was not a big deal to me being that each side has 8 strands so 7 wasn't a noticeable difference. I definitely think this costume requires ironing. To iron the costume I did not directly iron on the material. I laid a pillow case over it to do the sheer shoulder dressing and then used the pillow case to iron the gold opposite side of the collar and stomach sash. As for the dress... it is slightly stretchy so I was worried to burn it so I put water in the iron and did not press the iron on the dress but instead I steamed the dress. It improved the appearance of the costume greatly. I already had a Bob wig from a previous Halloween costume so the wig is not included. I braided four braids on each side of the wig and added hair jewelry ( the hair jewelry is also not included) The headpiece is included. I added a few necklaces and an arm cuff bracelet I also already had. This was a great buy and she wore it to school. Received lots of compliments. She was the best Cleopatra I've seen

This was exactly what we had hoped it would be. My daughter received so many compliments and felt so beautiful in this costume. We purchased this to use for a living museum project and she was the perfect Cleopatra. The costume and the accessories were all just as described and pictured. The fit was true to size. Great value for the price. I highly recommend this costume.

Adorable costume, my daughter loved it. The sizing was a bit off as there are 2 different size charts the one in the photos and the one in the description. I bought the small, which fit but she will not get another wear out of it…(6 year old) It is very see through so choose the proper clothing without pictures for underneath. I did remove a star because the headband was fraying upon arrival. I had to make some snips to improve it but it fit well and didn’t squeeze or cause indentations on her forehead. Overall a great costume would recommend.

Worked out great for my daughter’s school project! Great quality! Fit was the same size as it said for the small.

I am very happy with this purchase. The quality of the costume is actually very high for the low price. I bought it for my daughter for Halloween and it fits just perfect.

The costume is very cute but arrived with a few stains and a tear at the shoulders. The fabric of the dress seems like it won't hold up very well. Another annoying part is that a huge label is sewed right into the front jeweled part of the headband. Taking of the label means removing the stitching that holds the head strap to one side of the jeweled center. Unfortunately, I had it shipped internationally and was disappointed that the costume was defected. Thankfully, amazon granted me a full refund.

I'm very impressed by the quality of this costume! My daughter loves it too. The white dress is a stretchy fabric that is thicker and prettier than most inexpensive costumes are made from, and the stitching is much better. I was really (pleasantly) surprised when I opened the package, as I assumed it would be the typical cheap Halloween costume quality. I added a picture of my 8 year old in her costume. She wears a size 8 in most clothes and is 4'3" and I got her medium. It fit great, but still with some growing room too.

My daughter wore if for book week and loved it. It was slightly long and we just took it up a bit. A very cute costume, she looked great.
