I love this seasoning. I use this in ground turkey. My secret.
I gave up pork 5 years ago. My husband has not but will eat turkey pepperoni and turkey kielbasa. But when it comes to sauce or dishes that call for pork I use this and he does not know the difference. So so good. You won't be disappointed. I make a Italian Tuscan Soup that requires sausage and this works perfectly with the ground turkey. Can't tell the difference.

Still experimenting
My first mistake with this product was to taste a tiny amount before I used it. The mix was Extremely salty! I should have read the directions first! Lol. You use such a small amount per pound with this product, it will last a verrrrry long time. It turns out that the product was very tasty when used correctly! 😀 I will admit that I used more of my own spices with it, which is not a problem (garlic powder, parsley, grated cheese, a little hot pepper.). I like sausage a bit spicy but ordered the mild as I wasn’t sure how hot the mix was so I played it safe. Overall. I’m pleased with the product. The 4 stars is only because, for me, I would have liked to taste a bit more fennel.

The reviews that said to use more than recommended were right
I read the reviews that some said this created an overly salty sausage and the reviews that said to use more so I went with the recommended amout. I should have used more and listened to the posts of others that said you need to add more. The sausage is good but if you use the recommended amount I think you'll be let down if you are used to store bought Italian sausage that really loads the spices in. Now I have about 17 lbs of links made and wish I had used more. I did do a test fry of a little pre-casing and it tasted fine but once it works its way through the meat after casing and rests for a few days it's too weak in my opinion. Use more than recommended and add more fennel seed. I"m gonna give it 3 stars for flavor because the flavor isn't there using the recommended amout.

Butchered 2 pot belly pigs, the sausage mix tasted great. Will definitely be buying again
