Cooks evenly

The rock is the best line of pots and pans that I have ever used. They don't bow in the middle and are incredibly durable. The nonstick surface seems to endure over time. Added bonus...reasonably priced.

I should update this every 5 years but I have used this pan several times and I have to say I am looking forward to cooking. The pan cooks evenly and it cooks well. Easy to clean. A quality product. Check with me in 5 years and I am betting that I will sing it’s praises

I have had this skillet/griddle for about 4 months. It has an excellent surface… type of non stick granite finish…. new for me. I have made crepes, pancakes, hamburgers, toasted bread, grilled cheese, eggs, bacon & sausage. Since this is a shallow skillet, one has to watch for the amount of grease, but that is not a problem. It heats up very evenly and cooks evenly… no hot spots. I mostly use med heat to cook and everything is nicely browned or golden. Once I’m finished cooking I normally let it cool, wipe it with a paper towel, rinse it with hot water and a drop of soap, rinse again, dry and put away. I have been very satisfied with its performance and would certainly recommend it.

I love these pans. If you follow the care instructions they will last forever. My only suggestion is that I think you need to rethink your method of packing/shipping the pots/pans. I saw on previous reviews that the pans are delivered damaged/bent. Mine has a slight dent but not enough for me to return. It was shipped in a bubble envelope.

This is the second one of these I have bought. I use it all the time.

I'm 70 years old and have a number of fine cookware products over the years. We initially bought a set of THE ROCK by Starfrit for our camper and liked them so much that we bought another set for home. On an impulse I bought this 10 inch pan and it has turned out to be our favorite. Its the best pan for a quick pancake, grill cheese sandwich, tortilla or fried egg. They are getting hard to find, so I bought another one (just in case).

So easy to clean, and definitely non-stick, that has its pluses and minuses. Since the edge is short you have to be careful not to slide what you are turning off the griddle. Yes it is that non-stick.
