Magic Castle was perfect
The Magic Castle was as described. The lighting inside was great. My 12 year old put it together in a weekend. The directions were easy to follow and the finishex project surpassed our expectations.

A scaled down model that captures the essence of Harry Potter.
I haven't built this yet, as that'll be a weekend activity with my kiddo, but opening the package and taking a look through the instruction manual, I'm pleased with what I'm seeing. The bricks look identical to the name brand, and the instructions lay things out in what appear to be easy-to-follow sections. Most bags are labeled to correspond with their portion of the build, while two bags are completely unmarked - one for larger pieces, but then another for a variety of pieces, so I'm unsure how that will play out.Either way, as we're currently reading through the series together, this will be a fun build.

So glad I bought this!
I was a little weary. We are a Lego family. However my 6 year old son wanted a Harry Potter Castle for Christmas and I couldn’t justify spending that much. Bought this and he thoroughly enjoyed it. As with all kids when they build legos I sit next to them and find the pieces for the next step. So I was right there with him in case he struggled with the directions but over all he did pretty good. He put all the pieces together. There were only that he struggled with and everyone in awhile one would go flying trying to snap it on. I don’t think that happens with Legos. There were 4 things to build and each one had bags labeled with their number. Instructions were really easy to follow. This is a great set. And so glad I bought it for my 6 year old. My 9 year old also enjoyed it. I enjoyed it.
