Great scale, TERRIBLE battery life.
So I've had this scale for about 3 day now, and I've used it less than daily, a total of about 9 times. I've used it once or twice without the app and my kids have stepped on it too, so maybe closer to like 15-20 times that it's ever weighed somebody. The battery has died TWICE! The first time might've just been a fluke, it was about 2-3 weeks in it stopped working and the batteries were rusted because my kids love to turn my bathroom into a lake on a daily basis... 🙄 So I replaced those around in the beginning . Plus last time it just wouldn't turn on, this time it lights up and says the batteries are low. So IDK what's up with that. But the good things: It's a nice scale, it does a really good job of measuring weight, body fat, bmi, and all sorts of

What impressed me with this T Electronics - Bluetooth Scale was not that it measured accurately which I found out that it did and not that it measures 14 different body parameters which many other Bluetooth scales on Amazon can do the same but what really impressed me was its' HEALTHU+ App and according to the User Manual as well as the Product Description with its built-in Bluetooth technology BLE4.0 it can synchronize to the Apple Health, Google Fit and Fitbit Apps. Although personally I don't use any of these apps with our iPhones or Androids I have a lot of friends that do so I know this would be a good selling point to the ones that do use them with their Smart Phones and Watches. It nice to know that this scale is so sensitive that it can measure as little as .1 lb. and as much as 440 lbs.. Actually the only annoying issues I had was that this scale does not supply the 3 AAA Batteries that it requires to work, I always keep AA Batteries stored at my home but have very little need for these AAA Batteries but it looks as though that may change soon since I really like this Smart Scale. The other annoying issue I had was the although there was a switch on the back of the scale to switch weighing from Kg. to Lb., the first time I stepped on the scale after switching to Lbs. it switched the reading on the scale back to Kg.. The switch located on the back was recessed well enough that stepping on the scale couldn't have had an effect but after signing into my HealthU+ app I went to settings and realized that the app was set to default to Kg. so I went into "Unit Switch" and set it to Lbs. for unit of weight and Inch for unit of length and it has held those measurements without switching my weight back to Kg.. I had originally made up my mind that due to the Manufacturer not including the AAA Batteries I would deduct one star but after working with the scale and its' App I liked it so much that I believe it deserves a 5 Star Overall Rating...

These are a great looking and very functional set of scales when used on their own. You just pop 3 AAA batteries in (not supplied), press the single button on the back to select lbs or kgs and hop on them. However the really neat features are revealed when you install the application on your phone. I have a Google Pixel 7a and was able to easily install the app by looking for it in the Play store. The QR code took me to the Apple store that wasn't helpful. You don't seem to have to pair the device to your phone, just having the app open when you hop on the scales and it immediately reads the results. You don't even seem to need to create an account to use the app. However I would imagine you would lose your result history if you change phones or your phone breaks if you don't use an account. The information the app presents is very comprehensive and the readings do seem very consistent between multiple weighing's. My weight was very close to that on another digital scale we have. To get the more advanced metrics you need to weigh with bare feet so the scale can do it's thing. The app tracks values across time and will give you graphs of each value for you to track trends. All the values seem reasonable for my body shape/composition. My Wife also tried it however a few items seems off. For example she has Osteoporosis yet the measurements indicated her bones were of normal weight/density. each measurements also come with an indication of where yours falls within normal/healthy values. So whilst a few values did seem to not be representative, I do think this is a big help in understanding where you are in terms of weight and body composition and to track improvements if you are losing weight or trying to get fit with exercise. This seems like it will be a big help in helping me improve my overall health.

This is a pretty cool scale! It definitely gets a LOT more measures than my old scale, and it's really cool to be able to set goals around variables that are more related to health than just weight. In the past, it was always frustrating that muscle gain would mute weight loss whenever I regularly exercised. With this scale, those values can be examined separately. The app is okay, but I generally dislike having to download apps for my devices. Luckily, the scale will work without the app, but won't show all the data. The scale is nicely compact. It's smaller than other digital scales so it can be easily tucked away. My main issue with it (and the reason for one star off) is the terrible writing in the manual. It reads like it was auto-translated and many of the instructions are completely incomprehensible... This is such a contrast to the app, which was well-localized, that it makes me wonder why they didn't just have the same team do the manual translation...

There are a couple of things that bother me about the scale. The scale has a warning "Pregnant women and the users wearing pacemakers or other dangerous devices are not recommended to use this product". It's not like people wear pacemakers, or can take them off. Dangerous devices? Pacemakers are life saving not dangerous. What about those with other types of implants (like cochlear implants, for Parkinson's or Essential Tremor. What about those trying to get pregnant? It makes me uncomfortable to be using a scale with such a warning (even if I don't have such implanted devices). I would like to say is it "Perfectly safe", but I can't, and I am unwilling to try it without more information. Now don't get me wrong ... I understand electric and am not afraid of it. I know we are bombarded with electrical fields all the time. I have had 250,000 Volts of electricity (at 50kHz) flow over my body and thown sparks from my finger tips. However to do the kinds of testing they are talking about requires lower frequency or even DC with enough current to flow from one foot to another ... something don't feel comfortable doing without more detailed information. As a scale ... with shoes on I have no problem with it and it works fine. The numbers are very easy to read. and a button on the back can be used to change between units (Pounds (lb), Stone(st), and Metric(kg)). The other thing is political. The manual clearly has Farci as a featured language and on the back Russian. So I don't know if moneys from this is going to support causes I don't want to support - yes it has nothing to do with the product directly but the manual also makes me uncomfortable buying this product. Due to the political reasons I decided not to try the app. So for the medical reasons and for the political ones I cannot recommend this product. You are of course free to make your own choices. But this isn't t he scale for me.

I would love to accuse this scale of being inaccurate for telling me that I'm heavier than I am but alas, it is saying I am lighter. I compared against three other scales, including one medical grade one with annual calibrations. It was off by about 8 pounds. It has an app that it connects to which was seamless and in the app it provides a long list of other measures including "Body Water," "BMR," "Muscle Mass," etc. but given that the measure it seems to be basing it off of is so inaccurate, it's difficult to draw any meaningful information from any of these other data points. It is possible I received a defective unit but I am unable to say that with any confidence. I would not recommend this product.
