Sylvania Smart+ Wi-Fi LED Indoor Flex Strip 6.5 ft Expansion Kit

I originally bought a Sylvania Smart+ bluetooth flex strip kit, but they would disconnect from Google home about once a week. I'd reset them and reconnect them, but it kept disconnecting. Then one day, they stopped turning on when unplugging and replugging. They sent me a free replacement, which is very nice, but those suffered the same fate after only a few weeks. I've had this Wifi flex strip for 3 weeks now and they work fantastically. You can control them with Google Home, Apple Homekit, or Alexa fairly easily. You can also control them with the Sylvania Wifi app. The full spectrum of colors and the brightness controls are great. We have ours under our kitchen cabinets. I highly recommend these!

It's infuriating that this product cannot expanded past 13'. The fact that one base unit and one expansion is all you can get in a single unit is baffling. Why would you do this? And why would you put that limitation in such tiny text on the box? What angers me even more is that it *works* past 13', but inconsistently. Want white light? No problem! Turquoise light? How does 13' of turquoise and 6.5' of purple sound? Let's try red? Perfect! Green? 13' of green and then *nothing*. It's a complete crap shoot which colors will work the full 19.5' and which die or change at the 13' mark.While we're on the subject of colors, this product simply *does not handle* mixing colors very well. The different colors emit from just far enough away from each other that you don't see the combined color, but instead two distinct colors. If you want yellow, you should see yellow, not distinct red and green components. It's pretty sad how poorly engineered this is.

I bought 4 different kinds with the same brand so I can use the same app for all of them. I am happy I made this purchase.

Bought to add 13 feet to my Sylvania app-controlled lighting setup. Pricier than many other lights, but the simple/clean use with a single control point made the decision for me. Unfortunately, the listed length is what is POSSIBLE to connect...if 2 straps were purchased. This was very misleading in the description and title. I kept and utilized as TV ambient light instead of my original plan. Disappointed, but sucked it up. UPDATE: Thank you for (finally) updating the description

Easy to install, app works well. However it is frequently becomes disconnected when you first turn the switch on.
