Bought this because I, like many fellow millennials, stared at the "shrubs" I ignored for 3 years and realized they had become actual trees. Near the house. With thick, smug little 6" trunks. So instead of hiring someone (lol—money?), I got this adorable horror-movie-sized chainsaw and took matters into my own underpaid hands.It’s giving M3GAN energy: small, efficient, mildly terrifying, and surprisingly effective. Super easy to handle, especially in tight spaces where a full-sized chainsaw would turn into a drywall-removal tool. This one let me get right up against the house without suddenly having a skylight.Comes with a tidy little case, extra chains, a tiny tool that makes me feel like I know what I’m doing, and zero chain oil—so BYOO (bring your own oil). Filling it was easy, using it was easier, and now I’m feeling like a slightly unhinged suburban lumberjack.If you’ve got mid-sized regret-trees haunting your yard and generational financial trauma haunting your soul, this thing’s a win. Highly recommend.These things are dangerous though so please get yourself some real gloves not the one's that come in the kit and if you aren't half blind like me then get yourself some safety goggles! Chips do fly but the cut is clean.

Surprisingly affordable, but be cautious about what you are getting. There's a reason it is so affordable. This is a very handy, effective little chainsaw to do little chainsaw work around the yard. This is not a let's-chop-down-trees chainsaw.It's pretty cool that they include two extra chains and safety glasses (you're gonna want to wear 'em, flying wood chips and chainsaws -- of any size -- are a thing). They include cotton-like gloves which are better than no gloves, but they're not going to protect hands from anything pointy. There's also a cheap, but handy to have Philips screwdriver to adjust the chain as it seems to get slack fairly quickly, but is super easy to adjust.All of this comes in a handy but ill fitting plastic case. Again, there's a reason the price is so low. Net-net, for that every-once-in-awhile boy, I-sure-wish-I-had-a-little-chain-saw yard project this unit comes in handy.The build is okay. It's very easy to use. I would not leave it in the sun for any length of time, as I doubt the plastic would hold up. So far the battery lasted as hoped and you get two of them.At the end of the day -- be safe. This is a chainsaw and there are no little "whoops" with a chainsaw.

I loved this saw so much I bought my son in law one. Nice for small jobs such as branches that are dying or damaged. I have a smaller garden along woods on one side of house and was able to quickly cut over hanging branches so my flowers could get more sun.The one I bought my son in law worked great for first hedge we took down. Started second one and checked chain to make sure it was tight like it’s supposed to be. Keeps falling off and both batteries over heating. We have checked everything, don’t know if we got a faulty model, because mine worked great. Will probably have to return or use protection plan. This mini chain saw is very easy to use. It’s lightweight and the battery lasts a long time.Only thing I would like to see in the package is a small amount of the motor oil for the chain. I didn’t have any at home so I had to take a trip to the gas station. Also the instructions could specify which oil is best to use. Somewhere online I found out that any motor oil is OK. I couldn’t believe that this little machine can cut quite thick branches. The thickest ones I had were about 2 inches in diameter. This a very effective little tool.

Very pleased with overall quality and performance for the price! Comes with everything needed except chain oil. Package includes saw with chain installed, 2 batteries,, 2 spare chains, safety glasses, gloves, screwdriver, cleaning tools and carrying case. It worked so well that I also purchased one for my father-in-law and he lioved it too!

very easy to use, lightweight and effective I am 70 and need to trim branches regularly. Instead of asking someone to help me I can now do it by myself. Cut through a 4 inch branch like butter! Easy to clean, I haven't needed to change the chain yet but because it comes with 3 extra I don't have to worry about ordering replacement chain for awhile. It's fast for such a small 6 inch blade. I love it!

This saw is amazing! I have had to cut through 3 inch branches and it cuts like a dream. I am 74 years old and still very active clearing out brush and cleaning out over grown tree branches in my yard and this little gadget is just as good as a big saw. There are clear instructions included with 2 extra chains and it is very easily cleaned. It is not complicated at all. For someone like me, this is a God sent.

this chain saw is great and easy to use. Its lightweight made it easy for my wife to use. Cleaning this is very simple and no fuel required. The size is perfect for the small backyard cuts. Very durable my wife cut down a 8" diameter pine tree with little effort.
