I read all the reviews on this bowl and was concerned about the "popping" sound other people experienced. The bowl was for my daughter who bakes a crazy amount of bread, cookes, etc., at one time. I felt that the trade-off with whatever popping and the size of the bowl was worth it so I got it. My daughter is over the moon with this bowl. It is HUGE but perfect for her. The popping doesn't bother her because some of her other old bowls do the same thing. She said, "I'm using it to prep all my baking, it doesn't pop unless I push on the bottom and force it to." So, in her and my opinion, this bowl is perfect! Don't like to hear a popping noise if you push down on the bottom, then don't push down or better yet, turn the radio on and listen to some great tunes while prepping whatever delight is being whipped up! Honestly, this bowl is well made; the quality is good, the weight is perfect and the size is amazing! Don't hesitate, buy it!!

This is exactly what I was looking for - a sturdy, heavy bowl I could use for mixing up pet food without making a mess! I was a little worried it would be flimsy, but it's definitely a good quality bowl. And it's VERY BIG!

I should have paid more attention to the pictures in other reviews as it is way larger than I expected, but it met my needs for the holidays perfectly. Great quality for the price, but barely fits in my sink.

This thing is huge... I probably won't use it very often, but I have used it and it was perfect
