Utilitarian value with a minor quirk or two. . . .
If you are in the market for a compact, line-powered utility lamp, this is probably going to fit the bill.The quality of the product and light are both fine. It is great to have a warm white work light. The product consumes only 27 of the 30 Watts it is rated at, according to a Wattmeter. That may be why it is not quite as bright as expected, but seems fine for closer work—don't expect to light up the side of a barn with it.The other minor quirks are that the thumb screw fasteners seem to be a little less engineered than the rest of the product. They work, just not as professional feeling as expected.Also, the lamp does not appear to be UL approved. For those minor reasons, I give it a solid 4 out of five.
