I've had several products from Drinks By The Dram now - two whisky sampler sets and three advent calendars - and all of them suffer from the same problem, so it clearly isn't just an issue with a faulty batch, it's a problem right across the board. The 3cl bottles are sealed with wax caps which have a tag on them which is intended to be used to tear off the cap. However on every single bottle, the tag just snaps off when you pull it. I have tried different techniques, I have got other people to try to do it, same result every single time. The problem is then, with the tag snapped off, there is no inroad whatsoever into the wax of the cap, no nick or tear, not even slightly, and there is no way of getting a fingernail underneath or just pulling the top off by brute force. The only recourse left is to get a sharp pointed knife to stick under the cap and cut away at it to get it off. I have nearly done myself a mischief three or four times in the process of doing this (and I've only just got started on the advent calendars). As these products stand they are not fit for purpose and there's an actual safety issue because there's no option except to use a pointed knife. It really has to be sorted out.
