Q: Can this charge directly from a car alternator or should I use something in between to manage the current?

Dear customer, thank you for your inquiry. We are sorry to inform you that our lithium batteries can not be charged directly by car alternator, you need to use lithium iron phosphate battery charger.

Q: How many strings of cells in the 260AH need to know for the charger ?

Dear Customer, thank you for your inquiry. This 12V 260Ah lithium iron phosphate battery uses four 260Ah 3.2V cells in series, so the charger needs to know four strings of cells
