Excellent pan, great heat distribution, non stick very effective, easy to clean.

Wow, what an amazing product for the price. Sturdy, nothing sticks to it (my children certainly know how to test non stick with their attempts at cooking). and the heat indicator thing really helps to make sure pan is at the right temperature so as not to burn things

I recently acquired the Tower T900304 SmartStart Ultra Forged 5 Piece Cookware Set, and overall, I'm quite satisfied with its performance and features. The set comes well packaged, ensuring that the items are protected during transit.The cookware set boasts impressive durability, being 15 times stronger than traditional non-stick cookware. They are induction compatible and oven safe up to 220°C but I use them on a gas top, offering versatility for various cooking methods.One standout feature of this set is the Aeroglide Non-Stick coating, which not only ensures effortless food release but also makes cleaning a breeze. The fact that it's PFOA free gives me peace of mind regarding health and safety.While unpacking the set, I did notice some minor damage to two of the items. One frying pan had a small chip on the side, and another pan had a mark. Fortunately, these imperfections are purely cosmetic and don't affect the functionality of the cookware since they are on the exterior.The "smart" element of the set, the heat symbol in the middle of the frying pans, is a thoughtful addition. It darkens when the pan reaches the desired temperature, providing a visual cue for when it's ready for cooking.Overall, despite the minor cosmetic issues, I find the Tower T900304 SmartStart Ultra Forged 5 Piece Cookware Set to be a reliable and efficient addition to my kitchen. Its durability, non-stick properties, and innovative features make it a valuable investment for any home cook.

I bought this pan so my wife could cook pancakes for the children. We are very pleased with the quality.

What a fab fry pan, I especially wanted one that I could use on the hob and then in the oven and this is perfect. The non-stick is amazing even with no oil and so easy to clean. I use an induction hob and the base of this pan is nice and heavy. Its great that you can use metal utensil in it too without damaging the coating. I will definitely be buying more pieces in the range as the price is fab as well compared to Tefal.

Very solidly constructed product, well worth the price but as with any food use clean & dry well before cooking.

Nothing sticks and you only use a little oil

This is a great pan, like a combination of a skillet, saucepan and wok. Deeper than a skillet, broader than a saucepan and more shaped than a wok. It's a good weight: heavy enough to feel substantial and be stable, but light enough not to be uncomfortably heavy when full. The handle is hollow metal and stays cool to the touch when cooking.I tested it first frying an egg with just a spray of oil: perfect and no sticking. I then tried something I thought the shape might make difficult: a pancake. That was more difficult because the flat base of the pan isn't very broad so the pancake needed to go up the sides a bit. It was just about manageable, but I think I wouldn't choose to make them in this pan.I then tried it with tonight's dinner, one of my favourites: a Trinidadian pelau. This requires frying marinaded chicken in caramelised sugar, then adding vegetables and rice and stock, and slowly simmering covered for a while. Pelau usually sticks (the crusty bits are delicious!) and the pans usually take a bit of effort to clean afterwards, so it was a great opportunity to properly test-drive this pan. It's the perfect shape of pan for pelau, much easier than the large saucepan I usually use. Results? The Pelau is as delicious as always, but there was less effort than usual in cleaning the pan.This is a non-stick pan - Tower call it 'Aeroglide Ultra coating' and say it's safe to use metal implements... but I wouldn't. Their website say it's PFOA, Lead and Cadmium free, but they don't actually say what the material used in the lining is, so I assume it's some form of Teflon-like substance. I've docked a star for this lack of information - I want to know exactly what I'm cooking with! I would also assume it is probably unsafe to use if you have pet birds.However, if the lining isn't a concern, Tower is a reliable brand and this is a well-designed pan, and I'd recommend it.
