Large but comfortable, I used this for my recent shoulder replacement. Sitting in a recliner, I was comfortable using this large pillow for my arm. It also worked well when I tried to sleep in the first few weeks after my surgery. I found it a little awkward walking around the house, but for relaxing or sleeping, it was the best.

My wife bought this for me due to having total shoulder (reverse) surgery on my left shoulder. it fits comfortably under the arm and provides good support while sitting. I haven't used it with the straps that were included as I feel it is too bulky to try to move around with.

I had a distal bicep tendon rupture, which required surgery. After the surgery, I had a cast for 2 weeks and a bionic arm brace for 4 weeks. The arm needs to stay mostly at 90 degrees this entire time.The bionic arm brace is horribly uncomfortable. This pillow helped A LOT. I wear it 100% of the time when at home, working at home, sleeping, or driving. I still leave the brace on, but I sometimes take the brace off (when at home and seated) and this pillow helps keep it at 90 degrees and its A LOT more comfortable than the bionic brace.This pillow is amazing and I highly recommend it.

Really wanted/needed this for after my shoulder surgery, but when I received it, I couldn't figure out how the strap that holds your upper arm (see pic) connected. I contacted the manufacturer and they never responded. That strap was the main reason I purchased it, so since I couldn't use it, I sent it back. It's soft, but seemed more suited for a large man. It would have been too thick for my arm, I'm a small to average size woman.

I ordered this pillow to have prior to shoulder surgery next week and it's missing both the shoulder strap and arm band. I sent an email to the manufacturer via Amazon re: missing pieces and to request they be sent and have not heard a peep.

I’ll start off by saying that this was the first night that I haven’t woken up in pain since I tore my rotator cuff. That being said there is 2 problems with this that I’ll have to address. One thing is that the arm strap doesn’t tighten enough and I’ll have to add another piece of Velcro to make it tighter. The second is that the picture makes it look like there is a place to hold your hand. There isn’t. It’s an elastic around the guy’s wrist in the picture.

This is NOT an immobilizer shoulder sling. That said, if you are past the stage where you need the immobilizer, this is great! You curl your arm in and over it for walking use, and it great in the car too - when you are a passenger! I tried to use while driving myself and it is large enough to get in the way. With me it was my right shoulder that required surgery and, being in North America, the wheel is on the left. I found the pillow was too bulky and interfered with shifting and sometimes turning the wheel. So all in all do without while doing the driving but fantastic otherwise. Also better for sleeping. Side note: use spinner knob on steering wheel, massively helps turning the wheel in tight places!

This is a great pillow to have after shoulder surgery. I take it everywhere to support my arm/shoulder. It is very easy to carry with the strap. I used it to stabilize my shoulder when I had to wash my sling.
