Perfect
Easy set up, instructions are thorough. Durable too, survived a 2 story drop when I was moving.Print quality is spotty, depending on what you're trying to print. If it's a tasksheet, or to-do list it's spot on. But anything high detailed is simply not meant for this device. It's easy to travel with, so good portability. It's not noisy at all, almost whisper quiet. Does not jam. It's black and white, so no color printing.

Does the job
Does what I wanted it to do.Device/System: iPhone/iOS. Connection: Bluetooth. App used: PrintGo.I wanted to try this because the ink in my other printer dries out (not runs out) all the time (I don't print enough), and 2 ink changes will cost more than this printer itself. This review is written on the first day I received the product and test printed a few pages. Will update if anything else comes up.*Print Quality*: it's pretty obvious that the outcome is thermal printed - not comparable to a laser or ink printer, which is expected. But good enough for what I needed it for. I only intended to use this for temporary stuff - forms I need to print, sign, and scan; shipping labels; etc. Definitely wouldn't use it for anything formal.*Ease of Use*: App is simple and user friendly. Instruction is clear and easy to follow. I know it only prints from certain apps and sources, namely a few social media apps, native photos, and the "files" folder on iCloud drive, but it's not a big problem for me - it's easy enough for me to save a copy of any file on the iCloud drive.*Other*: I test printed with the rolled letter-size paper. My complaint is that... it's hard to tear off the paper... The paper is a bit thick for the blade to cut off smoothly, I had to hold the paper very close to the blade to tear it off little by little, or else the paper will break. This makes the paper quite wrinkly when torn off - another reason I wouldn't use this to print anything formal.-------Edits after 8 months:The rolled paper eventually becomes a problem. Especially towards the end of the roll, it's rolled so tight and is too hard to flatten out.I switched to the folded paper. My only complaint with that is that the printer is not able to position the paper properly, and after printing a page it also doesn't stop the paper where it should start for the next print. As a result I have to reposition the paper manually before every print. This COULD be because I didn't use the Jadens branded folded paper, so that the printer isn't able to read the positioning marks on the back properly. I will try the branded paper next time and provide another update.Again since I'm not using it to print anything formal I don't need the paper position to be that perfect. The convenience of printing at home and saving on inks still makes this a good purchase.PS: one charge lasts a really long time...

Timely arrival and compact
Nice and compact for travel weighs more than I expected, but I had nothing to measure it against so I’m sure it’s just fine. Nice to have a portable option while traveling.

For the price, it works great.
Writing this review only a few days after receiving it; if my opinion changes I'll circle back. The good*It's about a third the size and cost of Epson's portable inkjet printer, and that includes the built-in roll of paper.*The curly print out issue isn't that big a deal--they're not tightly or stiffly curled. I ordered (separately) flat thermal paper because I was concerned about the curly printout issue, but for my needs it's fine, and the convenience of not having to have paper on hand beyond what's built into the machine is a bonus.*I had no problem loading the driver onto a Windows 10 laptop, nor downloading the app you need to run the thing on an iPhone*While not "rugged", it doesn't have any protruding bits to break at all--it's just a solid little rectangle--so I'm not worried about it getting damaged loose in my work bag.The could-be-better:*The print quality isn't excellent (though you shouldn't be thermal printing anything you need to hold onto for a long time, anyway. For short-term around the jobsite uses, it's fine)*I'm mostly printing greyscale diagrams and text from PDF's. The same exact pdf file printed from the Windows machine looks washed out and hard to read, but when printed from the iPhone looks fine. WTF?*The app is basic and low fi, which is fine, but at least the iOS version can only print files from some social media apps and from the iPhone's "Files" folder. You can't print from a USB in an adaptor on the phone, and you can't print from dropbox etc. The printer also won't show up as an available printer through any other app (ie Dropbox, gmail) even if you have the app open and are linked. This means you have to transfer every file onto your personal Files folder prior to printing.*If you're printing more than one copy or more than one page, you either have to print them one page at a time, or use scissors to cut them apart later. It would be nice if there were a pause-after-each-page option so you could tear. All in all, though, I'm so far happy with the thing.
