Car Window Shades, 2 PCS Magnetic Double Layer Auto Sun Shade for Side Windows Privacy Full Covers/Half Shade Options Back Car Window Curtains for Baby Protection

I have looked at all options of car window shades for car camping. I'm so glad I found these. I needed to use one whole set to cover the entire window. As soon as I saw it worked for what I wanted, I promptly ordered 3 more sets for the rest of the windows. I haven't used them yet on a trip since they just arrived today. But it doesn't look like they will help with heat, since they hang down from the window instead of making direct contact to reflect the heat. But I mainly want them for privacy on a cross country road trip where I will be living out of the car. They are so lightweight and barely take up any room. I like that you can still open the window while they are installed. The magnets make them so easy to install. The fabric is very lightweight, but it does a great job of blocking light and visibility. The magnets are small but there are plenty of them to stick. If you want to cover the whole window including the angle slant, you can use two sets, and make sure to put magnets down the entire side of the angle. That way the entire window is covered. It blocks a huge amount of light. I wish I had these years ago for all of the car camping I've done. Both panels are used on one window in the below picture, so each window needs one full set. It's a 2018 Subaru Outback.

Love these shades! My car has no tint and I live in the south. When my son was born I realized I would need something to keep him shaded in the car. I love that I can just pop these onto the door frame and go. I didn’t want the cling type of shade or the ones with suction cups because I was afraid of them peeling off while I was driving and falling onto my son. He is now 6 months and does grab at them some but hasn’t managed to pull them off and I’m not sure if he will be able to when the door is closed. The only downside is that I usually leave the curtains closed over the mesh for maximum shade and when I have the one on the passenger side hanging I can’t see out that back window, but that is mostly only a problem when I’m backing up. I leave the rear driver’s side shade hanging all the time because the way it hangs in my car still lets me see in my blind spot. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase, I wish I could get one for my back window too!

I absolutely love this window curtain. My daughter used to love the car but now screams and spits up every car ride. Not sure if she is motion sick now or what. I have 2019 santa fe and this fits great. The magnet work good i just wish the material was a rougher material, its more silky and slips down a little on the metal. But it has helped my 3 month old ride in the car without screaming. I did take a good pic but i love u can tie it back, still have some shade/ privacy and the design but see out.

Very happy with these curtains. I made a few tweaks to make it perfect. Firstly, I cut a piece of black poster board to fit the little triangle in the corner. Secondly, I added black command strips along the bottom of the screen fabric. This keeps the curtain flush with the door and also prevents the breeze from moving them when the window is open. The magnets are very strong but also easy to take down if needed. When the second layer is closed, they provide perfect privacy.

Look no further for any other window shade. These are the absolute best. SO easy to install - you just attach the magnet window shades to the metal around your window. Sticks well and when using the regular shade with the curtains drawn, it really keeps a lot of the harsh sun out. Having the curtains down is the BEST for kids sleeping in the back. We live in AZ and the summers here are so killer. The sun is hard to escape from but I cannot believe what a difference these made. I’ve tried so many others and they just did not work well. So happy I tried these ones! The size fits my 2020 Nissan Rouge perfectly.

As far as blocking the sun i am not sure yet since its been overcast here. It did come with a defective one where the ribbon you use to tie the sides up is a lot higher than the other ones, so it holds one side up very high. It came with some white scratches on them too, no clue what that is. The magnets are very strong. I may return this item if it does not block the sun good enough.

Very happy with this purchase!! Install is so easy that it’s non-existent. Easy to remove and reposition without concerns of “losing stickiness” or suction like most other products. Biggest downside is that you have to be careful not to cover your entire window as it does an excellent job blocking everything out but that means you can’t check your blind spot… (I drive a Honda Civic for reference). It’s an easy fix (just move the item so that you have an opening). Baby is still completely blocked from the sun even with the opening for driving visibility

We love it! It works like a charm so easy to put on and it stays in place, cover the sun if it’s in the baby’s eyes and it’s good material. Perfect for breastfeeding in the parking lot without nosey people staring at you lol.
