Good scale great price
This was the least expensive scale I tried and it actually keeps working with no tech support.

Best smart scale
It took only a few moments to set up my account and about 5 minutes to get my boyfriend connected so we can see each other's weight. The app is easy to use and understand and it breaks down every metric so its easy to know what everything means. Its even color coded. Green = good red = bad with a few other colors between. Its sleek and not bulky. It also came with batteries so I didnt have to bother buying any.

Accurate, easy to use, and the app gives great information
This brand of biometric scale was recommended by a doctor I follow, and for the money it is a winner. The Bluetooth connectivity to my phone was seamless, and the app itself is quite impressive. I've found it to be pretty accurate in its readings as compared to the similar one at the gym. You need to be barefooted when using it. After the measurements are sent to the app on my phone I hear a series of pleasant chimes. I use this scale at least first thing in the morning and sometimes several times a day. I am very happy with my purchase and can recommend this scale.

Such a Nice Looking Scale!
This is such a nice scale. Enough so that I ended up buying a 2nd one a few days after I received it just in case I wanted to put it in the hallway bathroom, or down in the exercise room. Our old scale broke. It was super fancy at the time we bought it over 20 years ago, since it allowed you to store settings for several people and could estimate body fat, etc. But the downside was -- it was HEAVY and BULKY. It usually got stored in a closet because there really wasn't a good place for it. Scales usually aren't that great looking, more of an eye-sore. Anyway, the batteries leaked in the old scale last year and it completely died, leaving us without a scale. When I saw this FITINDEX scale, it was initially the price that sold me. It looked like other scales that cost twice as much & based on some of the reviews at the time I figured it'd be worth the shot. Upon receiving the scale, I was surprised how light it was and how thin it was too. So much nicer in terms of weight compared to my old scale. My wife and I don't use all the fancy settings it has, we just need it for the weight -- and now after owning it for about a year, I can say it was definitely a good buy! We've used it daily at times and I've only had to change the battery once so far. It's nice and bright! When compared to another scale we have, it seems accurate. The icing-on-the-cake though is that since it's new looking and compact, and not this beat up old scale we used to have, we've now set it up against a wall next to a chair in our bedroom. It's got a permanent place, so my wife doesn't have to pull the scale from the bathroom closet multiple times a week (if not daily). Just walk over and step on and off the scale. Easy. During periods of months where we're exercising quite a bit, or we're intermittent fasting, it's nice being able to step on it before bed or any time during the day to as some positive motivation [well, sometimes] for when you're giving it your all. So, despite not being able to discuss all its extra features, I can say that from my experience this scale is high quality & I haven't had any issues with it. I'm most excited at the price paid, how it looks, and how light it is. It was a perfect replacement and is wife-approved as well!

Highly Accurate? I think so
REVIEW SUMMARY For those of us committed to changing our body shapes, this scale seems to give you the hard data you need to do it right. NOTE: I'll confirm this definitely or not over the next 3 to 4 months and come back and update this review. Until then, I simply can't give it 5 stars yet. But that's only because I can't be certain yet. If the product continues to demonstrate its apparent accuracy to me over time, it will more than deserve 5 stars. In the meantime, this does appear to be one of the most accurate scales on the market today--and the price is fantastic! DETAIL I rarely write reviews. But this product seems to be a game changer for those of us committed to living more healthy, losing fat and/or gaining muscle. I'm both a fitness and tech geek, and this product meets me in both places in great ways. This review is my way of showing thanks. I used to have an OMRON bluetooth scale (ugg, do NOT get that!!!). This FITINDEX scale shows that I have a much lower bodyfat percentage than the OMRON scale, by over 10%! I always thought the OMRON scale was wrong, because it said I had a 30% bodyfat and I just didn't have the belly to show for it. This FITINDEX scale puts me at around 18.6% bodyfat, and that seems about right based on how my bodyfat has been measured by other means in the past (at a gym, with calipers). Another reviewer had remarked that they also had been tested at their gym with a very expensive, professional-grade scale, and that this scale showed numbers very close to the professional-grade scale. It was that review that convinced me to dump the OMRON scale and start using this one. I am SO very glad I did! The app that goes with the scale is easy to use and to pair with the scale--be sure to follow the directions carefully as you do. I didn't follow the directions the first time and frustrated myself. Once I got the directions out I was like "oh, that was actually easy!" The scale itself does not show anything other that your weight. But you have the app open and your phone nearby as you step on the scale, once it has been paired with the app linked to the scale, it will automatically send the data to the app so you can then read all the additional info. As a fitness junkie and tech geek I loved all the data, but you can just use what works for you. The app will show trends over time. A FEW NOTES ABOUT USING THE SCALE and WALKING YOUR FAT LOSS or MUSCLE GAIN JOURNEY: If you are trying to lose weight (or gain it) I recommend weighing yourself first thing when you wake up every single day. Keep in mind that the body can fluctuate in weight by as much as 3 lbs or so due to water retention and other factors, including stress, food, exercise, and more. I like to think of my fat loss and muscle gain efforts as a journey, not a race. In a race, if you fall behind or move backwards, you are immediately screwed, so that is NOT the way to think about these things. Instead, in any journey we already know there will be ups and downs--but as you move along your path you are still moving closer to your goal ("to get to the top of fat loss mountain," for me). So do not be discouraged by the daily up and down fluctuations. Instead, just commit to recording yourself each day, knowing that it will bob up and down based on a ton of factors, and that what you are seeking from this daily record it to see **the average of the daily changes over time**. I tend to look back over the last 7 days to get a sense of where I am. Look at the trends, not the day-to-day. You do not want to care about the daily changes. You DO want to care about the trends. Another Important and often overlooked factor in fat loss: Many people when they lose weight fail to workout their muscles sufficiently. And, as the adage goes, "what you do not use, you lose." So, if you try to lose fat yet do not workout your muscles sufficiently OR eat enough protein, you will lose both fat AND muscle and become "skinny fat." This scale is great in that it can help you see how you are doing in maintaining your muscle mass as you lose weight, in addition to tracking your fat percentage. If you see yourself losing muscle mass, it may inspire you to focus more on retaining the muscle you still have. Here is a little motivation: Muscle burns more calories than fat does, so in the metabolic game holding onto the muscle you have is critical to maintaining your body weight once you lose the fat. If you become "skinny fat," the body will have less resources to draw from in order to maintain the weight, so you'll probably put the fat back on--this time, with less muscle. NOT good. Don't become skinny fat. If you are skinny fat, or have low muscle mass, don't despair though. Just start a weight training program, and muscle will start coming back on. Though the adage "what you do not use, you lose" is true, it is also true that the body has a "muscle memory." That is, it remembers the muscle it used to have. By using your muscles, you can get the muscle back that you may have lost, and more easily than the first time you put it on. Both losing fat and gaining muscle are VERY difficult and take serious effort. From what I understand about the body, I do not think there will ever be a magic pill to help us lose the pounds without effort, nor gain muscle without BOTH feeling the burn and eating for muscle growth. A tip on that: Eat 30 - 60 grams of 1:1 pea and rice protein several times a day to trigger a "muscle growth activation cycle"-- but that only works if you are also feeling serious muscle burn in the gym. When you are in the gym, you have to feel your muscles ache. As a trainer once said to me, "There is good pain, and bad pain. We want good pain." No pain, no gain. BACK TO THE SCALE I love, in addition to measuring bodyfat, how well the scale seems to measure both water weight and muscle mass. I also love how the data it reveals to you is compared with averages, to see how you are doing generally. For example, as an aspiring bodybuilder, I was pleased to see that (as my mirror shows me), yes, I do indeed have significantly more muscle mass than the average person. Bottom line: As I said above, For those of us committed to changing our body shapes, this scale does give you the hard data you need to do it right. I am planning to lose more weight over the next 3 to 4 months, so I will update this review as I approached a "ripped" state to let you know if I still agree with my assessment. For now the scale gets 4 stars instead of 5 ONLY because I don't know for certain yet how accurate it truly is. Once I'm at a ripped state, we'll see if its numbers match what I can see in the mirror. If it does, I'll change my rating to 5. In the meantime, this scale is definitely worth the price, as it is far more accurate for sure than many of the other scales out there.

Best Scale I've Ever Owned
I was surprise at how easy it was to set up and use. After downloading the app onto my IPhone I simply stepped on the scale and the scale did everything else giving one a great deal of information where you can track your progress on a graph that is displayed on your cell phone. I once tried to weigh myself with socks on and the app asked me if I was me. I then realized that you need to be barefoot as there are four metal contacts on the scale that must run low electrical current through your feet to calculate things like your body fat percentage.
