Some competitors have copied these rails but are making them out of STEEL to reduce the manufacturing cost. Unlike brass, steel WILL rust in moist bathroom conditions. You can tell if a rail is made of brass or steel by using a magnet. A magnet will NOT stick to a brass rail but WILL stick to a steel rail.
