The Vege-men's Revenge Paperback – 24 Aug. 2017

This so called reproduction copy is in black and white not colour - also there is a word missing at the end of several lines on virtually every page making the book unreadable. There is an apology for blurs etc in the description but I cannot believe that the copy scanned had all these words missing. It is apparent that the scanning was inaccurate and the product extremely disappointing.

This seller was so polite and helpful! I was so thrilled to get this book in amazing condition as it was my favorite growing up and my original copy got lost over the years! Thank you so much for getting this to my safe and sound!

I applaud this press for reprinting old volumes, but this effort was not successful. The problem was in the format. The Vege-men's Revenge is in horizontal format, and this reprint is vertical. It cuts off parts of pictures and texts of most pages. In addition, its pictures are in black and white, while the illustrations are in charming colors. I hope the press learns from this oversight and is more careful in how it reproduces these old books. There is a relatively large market for good reprints--the 1987 facsimile of Vege-men's Revenge goes from $55 to $125. A modern complete color re-issue could easely be sold for $35. So, please, press, try it again.
